I am Canadian; Three years ago I received confirmation that my I-130 had been received by the California USCIS office. The date on the processing times for I-130 brother was April or May 2001 for a very long time. Now it is back to 1999!

Now, this is for all appications around the world. I note that about 50% of applications are from Mexico and a couple other countries. I understand there is a maximum number per country every year. So I assume most countries are well under the time on the USCIS list of processing times.

Does anyone know how to find out how long the wait is for Canadians I-130 brother.

PS My sister was a nurse in hospital in New Orleans during Huricane Catrina. Nice thanks, what?!

Cheers

Here's the visa bulletin for March, current priority date for F4 category is March 98.

Thanks. I quess to pinpoint just Canada is unavailable.

Peter

Hi Peter,

It is not - because the wait is general, not country specific - there are no special concessions made for Canadians.

Hi Peter,

Thanks. No special concessions expected, except it would be nice to know how many Canadians are waiting for an I-130 F4 and how many are getting in each year. That way I could plan on at least an estimate. Ten more years and I will be retiring in the US not working there!!

Cheers

Peter
