haha kinda. Not in front of the person interviewing, but its a requirment for getting hired. no tattoos are allowed. sucks huh?

yea in Mexico tattoos have a bad connotation.. with girls they're more lenient.. but if you're a guy applying for a good job in a good company.. u can't have tattoos

Yes, we discovered that with Benny's first US dr visit this week.

The doctor has now become one of his most intimate friends :devil:

Yes, we discovered that with Benny's first US dr visit this week.

The doctor has now become one of his most intimate friends :devil:

And the doctor was a little....odd to say the least. He claimed he had a little flu....

I had a really bad cough in Albania and my husband took me to the doctors (hospital). At no time did the Dr. lay a hand on me. I'm used to American doctor's listening to my chest when I have a cold.

He may not have wanted to touch me since my husband was in the room translating...

my doctor ..a female is a friend of mine..the only problem i have ever had with her..that when she checks my prostate, she brings out the tip jar...

when my son, a few years ago ..had to have his posrt physical..i gave him a twenty and told him..'you need this, when you turn and cough"

i wonder, how she worked herself through med. school?

Trust me, if they've seen one, they've seen 'em all.

I can confirm as a nurse that this is definately true, I have seen more body parts than I could care to mention ( and many at work also :lol: ) and I can honestly say nudity at work doesn't even register with me anymore. Doctors are the same!

Don't know how it is today, but if you are shy, do not join the military. Have to think of our bodies as machines that need to be checked or worked on, and can't do that if fully clothed. But that doesn't mean you have to like it, very few of us do.

As someone who has been getting regular pap smears since I was 14, also a laser procedure at 19 while a bunch of med students watched- I have no qualms about being naked for the Doctor.

I would guess that in some Countries, regular Paps and exams aren't really that common.

I've never gotten naked for a doctor here or in Germany. It's never come up? Even when I gave birth, I still had a shirt on. I was really hoping for one of those gowns because slimy newborn goo was not what I wanted to get all over my shirt. But better the shirt than me. Alas, they are cheap or something and I had to wear my own clothes.
