Hello fellow VJ'ers,

Just want to ask if we can do Report of Marriage,Amendment of Passport and Applying for Phil.Passport for our daughter which to make her dual citizen all by mail???

Can we do it all at one time?Or do we need to do Report of Marriage first before we can amend my passport? We are in Tallahassee and the nearest Phil.Consulate is at Ft.Lauderdale,FL which is very far and we don't want to go back and forth.

Any one pls....

Thanks.

Report of marriage, amendment of passport you can do it at the same time by mail. I did it last year. For passport, they require personal appearance for first-time applicants.

Yes..but one of requirements for passport amendment is report of marriage...so how can i amend my passport without the report of marriage if I will do it at the same time by mail?

And how long does the process takes?Im afraid that maybe my passport will get lost if I do it by mail..

Yes you can do both at the same time by mail if you want. They will mail you first your Amended passport and your Report of marriage will follow few days after.I paid $6.00 for the mailing fee.Make sure you send the complete requirements and the mailing fee($6.00 priority/$15.00 Epress mail)so they will not ask for additional documents. They will return to you all the original documents and don't worry your passport will not get lost or stolen we're not in Phiippines anymore...if you know what I mean. :luv: The processing time I think is 2-3 weeks.

I just finished my AOS biometrics. And my Philippine passport will expire on 11/11 but it is still in my maiden name. Any suggestions as to when is the best time to send in the report of marriage as well as changing my passport into my married name? Thank you in advance.
