Hello everyone. I have a question: I have been 3 times in USA with the WAT program so totaly yes I have lived there for more than 1 year (3times x 4 months). So my question is do I need to get some kind of police cerificat from there or this is part of their security checks? I am asking because the instructions says that if I lived abroad for more than 1 year I need a police record from there. Sorry if the question is silly but really have no idea what to do.

Thanks

NO. You did not live here for more than one year, continously.

K-1 applicants are required to get police certificates from any country that they've lived in for at least six months.

A US police certificate is not required no matter how long the beneficiary has stayed in the Country ...see this link for more information.

Plus the USCIS will see any US hits if required... They have "ways" - spooky ways....

Since you know, this is the US.. :jest:

Nice icon btw... praying Cartman...

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
