My fiance was approved on march 3rd and she was told that it would take 2 to 5 days to get the visa. We were so exited  . I looked at tickets but did not buy them i was waiting to see the visa in her hand first. Now yesterday on the 6th we decided to call Air 21 to find out if it was on the way. They said that it was not with them and that we should call the manila embassy, when we call them they said it was still in processing and that we should call back in two week again to see where it is. :( we both felt so sad. We thought we would see each other sometime this week now we are being told to wait again and again it is an undefined time. To some of you who have gotten your visa how long did it take after the interview for you to get it. My fiance was devastated she feels that it may not be approve yet. It is so confusing since they said it was approve then it is still processing. :crying:

Manilla has a different process for issuing the visa. It has to be put through additional proccessing before it is issued. I'm going to move this to the PI regional forum (from K1) so you can get more information regarding this and how long it will take.

Hi Ghom,

Congratulations on the approval !!! Well it depends on the CO I guess and the documents she paased..There are some instances like what others ( fellow VJ members) have experienced before that CO's are doing an additional processing .. Its a case to case basis I think..

My friend Jane ( a fellow VJ member also) had her interview last Feb. 9 at window 32 and after 3 days she received her visa which was delivered by air 21.. Just hang in there, soon the visa will be delivered right at your fiance(e) doorstep..Who knows maybe tomorrow?
