Damn the torpedoes and full speed ahead as they say. Got got the hard copy of the approval of the NOA1. The Package arrived in the CSC on Friday afternoon the 02/27 and was approved on Monday March 2.

Well, not to burst your bubble, but that is a notice of receipt, not approval. It means they received it, which is also good information. Congratulations on getting it ready and sent in, that's a bit of work in itself.

So, now "full speed ahead" means you need to get all your interview documents ready now so when the "ball gets back in your court" you are ready and continue "full speed ahead" Download packet 3 from the embassy website and bet your documents and forms together, get your translations, etc. Use this time to your best advantage.

Put your NOA1 date into the VJ timeline and you will get a current estimate of your approval date. And let me tell you something that will take 20 points off your blood pressure and save you hours of watsed time....calling the USCIS, NVC or any other governent agency, looking at there online misinformation system, etc, is ALL a waste of time. No matter what you do, who you call, how frustrated you get...the VJ timleine is the most accurate of anything you will ever receive. And it is free and easy
