Hello~ fellow VJers~

My wife just had her interview in the morning(her time) and she called me right after the interview.

She was so nervous and didn't remember what she did or said during the interview.

All she remembered is that the CO took the paperworks and her passport and smiled at her at the end.

Does this mean she got the visa? I would like to think that she did. If there was any issue then she would get the passport and paperwork back, right?

Also, assuming she got the visa, does my wife get the passport back along with any other documents she submitted or just passport with K-3 Stamp?

I can't wait until end of this month. I will be flying out to Korea for 3 weeks and come back home with her.

Our consulate gave instructions that if you provide them with copies, they give your originals back during the interview. If you do not provide copies, then they keep the originals as part of your file...not sure if it's the same for you.

We didn't get any instruction on copies so I guess the Consulate will keep the files and return only the passport with k-3 stamp.
