Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Aww thanks guys. :luv: You know it just gets really frustrating when you make all these healthy changes and then the scale does not move. I was so frustrated yesterday that I went on a binge after the scale had not moved for five days. I ate half of a low-calorie oatmeal bar :o , a piece of banana  , 1 kalamata olive and 2 almonds :crying: . But I feel better today and although I binged yesterday, today I am back to the plan. And good luck to everyone trying to live healthier.

thats not binging. Honestly, if you think that is binging, you need to step back and relax.

Again, if you are in your normal range now(even if its the "higher side", you probably do not need to lose another 40 lbs. take it easy. Originally you said that you just want to be able to say you lost 100lbs. that sounds great but if you dont NEED to lose 100lbs, thats unhealthy.

Ya I'm sorta joking there, but I have pretty much decided that losing another 40 pounds is just not realistic for me and you are right, I would be in the next height/weight range if I lost that. I think I will half it and settle for losing another 15-20 pounds and just focus on maintaining that.

Jodo,

Like everyone here said your body hit a plateau and you just need to wake it up. First of all, don't starve yourself so eating less than 1200 calories will only make you gain weight later as your body will keep storing for later use. Since losing weight is a mathematical process, you just need to up your cardio, maybe add an extra mile, if you're using a treadmill increase the incline to something you're not used to, jog instead of walk, do it once in the morning and once in the evening, change your routine. Anything that will make you burn more calories because it's obvious you're body got way too comfortable with the exercise routine you're currently on.

You'll see, that never fails.

I started my diet the day after Memorial Day last year and I have since lost 60 pounds. Ever since January 2009, it seems like I have hit a brick wall. I have tried everything. Walking two miles a day and there have even been times when I did not eat for days :( . My doctor says that I am now in my range for my height/weight but it is at the upper end and I just want to lose another 40 pounds to say I lost 100 pounds  ! I just feel like my body is fighting me tooth and nail to stay at this weight and at 30 years old, it is just not like when I was 22 in college trying to lose weight. I just feel like a failure. :(

Keep your head up.The fact that you have lost 60 pounds is a great accomplishment ! Don't go overboard, try losing 20 pounds instead, you can do it.

May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f

The interview went well, they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit, nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !

June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again, still no decision on his case!

Well done with your weight loss - I for one am impressed!

You might want to reconsider wether you NEED to lose that extra weight to get to the 100 mark - dont starve yourself!

Something you might want to consider ( those who calorie count) : People sometimes choose to journal or count a certain amount of cals a day according to their weight and weekly loss required i.e. they choose 1500 cals a day - well it can help sometimes to consider your calorie allowance in terms of the week rather than daily so that you have a few more one day and a few less the next - I think it is called zig zag?
