:D I just want everyone to know that my wife arrived safely this past Thursday night/Friday morning. It has been a fun filed weekend. It is different having my wife around, even the pets are adjusting to it. but it feels so good after such a long wait. :D

She came in on a CR-1 visa and I checked the box for them to do her SSN. So is there anything else that I need to do?

29 Aug 05 - Mailed I-130 to TSC (Day 1)

20 Sept 05 - Received I-797 Notice of Action from CSC with Processing date 14 Sept 05 (Day 24)

3 Feb 06 - I-130 Approved (Day 161)

8 Feb 06 - Received I-797 NOA of Approval in mail (Day 166)

National Visa Center

21 Feb 06 - Case # Assigned (Day 179)

25 Feb 06 - Received AOS bill & DS-3032

27 Feb 06 - Mailed DS-3032 back to NVC (fedex from Phils)

27 Feb 06 - Mailed AOS bill with payment back to NVC (overnight)

03 Mar 06 - AOS Bill Payment Updated in NVC system

28 Feb 06 - NVC received AOS payment

02 Mar 06 - NVC received DS-3032 Form

03 Mar 06 - AOS bill payment updated in NVC system

08 Mar 06 - DS-3032 updated in NVC system

16 Mar 06 - Received I-864 package (mailed next day overnight)

awww, so happy for you both, I also checked the box for SSN , but it looks like i will have to go to the office to get it as it didnt arrive yet, & I did my CR1 at POE on the 5th may :unsure:

but nothing to do now untill 2 years (minus) 90days from the date on her GC, then you will both have to apply for conditions lifting :thumbs: , so relax & enjoy :whistle:

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

Removing Conditions Begins

Mailed I-751 April 12th 2008

signed for @ NSC April 16th

NOA date April 16th

Conditional GC expired May 5th 2008

Biometrics Detroit May 10th 2008

10 year Green card ordered August 20th 2008

Citizenship any time from feb 2009

Congratulations!!

It's best to go to the social security office and apply for the card. My wife came on K1 we filled out the check mark for the SSN but we had to go to the SSN office to fill out a new one.

Our son Ethan was born!!! Aug 17/04

Got our visas Aug 1/06 !!!

Yayyyyyyyy shortie :thumbs: glad your wife arrived safely

Have a read HERE for info on what happens as far as the SSN. In particular mdyoung's post.

As for what you can do now.......Start a file for the evidence you will need to remove conditions come 90 days prior to your wifes 2 year anniversary of entry. Never to early to start and will make things much easier come the time.
