Still waiting for k 1 visa

Hi Folks

Thanks for all your advices, My fiancee had her interview 2 weeks ago, the embassy in Abidjan ( Ivory Coast ) told her , they will call her when the visa is ready. Do you know how long it takes to get the visa?

Was she told that she was approved?

It sounds like they need to do more processing on your case before they issue the visa.

Thanks for your reply, she said the consulate told her they will call her when the visa is ready.

I don't anticipate any problems ( I think ), we have a baby together ( 6 months old ).

I don't think she was given anything, I will ask her tomorrow.

Hmm. I guess you just have to wait. To me it sounds like you have been put into some kind of additional processing since you were not given a definite date.

I don't know about the patterns of visa delivery in the Ivory Coast. There are no active members here that can give any insight.

I would say just sit and wait.
