Hello everyone. I have sent the AOS package to USCIS for my father that currently on B2 visa. My father finished the biometric appointment already. Now they sent the RFE asking for W-2 from me and the joint sponsor. On Feb 16, 2009 I've sent the RFE letter together with the W-2 (with no delivery confirmation). But until now, my case status is still saying that RFE sent and Case on hold. Is there anyway that I can check whether the USCIS got my RFE or not? Should I resend them the RFE package again. I make a copy of the RFE letter already.

I had the same experience with the RFE for the AOS and my status remained unchanged. I mailed in my document Feb 9 and called 3 wks later to see if they received it because I mistakenly didn't place delivery confirmation on the letter. The person I spoke with told me that I had to wait until 60 days passed since I mailed it in but told me that I could re-mail the information. I did and this time I sent it priority with delivery confirmation. It arrived at the location 2 days after I mailed it but my status remained the same. Long and short of the matter is that they are behind in updating the system based on what I have read form other VJer's who have been getting appointments or EAD cards even though their status remains the same. I am just waiting now and trying not to get anxious seeing that it is not uncommon for the status to remain the same even though they are working on the case. Again, I've sent in a copy of the request and seeing that the status hasn't changed then it seems obvious that they are just behind.

Everything will be alright.

I have quick question about the RFE that USCIS sent me. The content of RFE is "In order to process your application further, the petitioner/sponsor on Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, must submit all supporting tax documentation (W2, 1099, etc) submitted to the IRS for the most recent tax year."

So should I just send the W2 for the most recent tax year to the USCIS. Or should I resend the I864 with Form 1040 and W2.

Thank you so much
