Hi All.

We got the DS3032 e-mail today as well as the AOS (I-864) Fee Bill. I paid the bill online (status is IN PROCESS) and will e-mail the DS3032 probably within the next few minutes. I am also going to send it in the regular mail tomorrow morning.

Although I did apply for an expedite last night, I am pretty sure this is just a coincidence. There is no way that NVC was able to process the expedite request that fast.

His_Wifey, you have to go through the Naples Consulate right? We do as well. Did a representative at the NVC tell you that the expedite requests get forwarded to the Consulates? I was not aware of that... I thought they were processed by personnel at the NVC. But, I guess that just goes to show how little I know about all of this stuff.

Yeah... that is pretty messed up. But, somehow it does not surprise me. So, what is NVC telling you to do now?? Just wait? What is the point of an expedite if no one even knows where it is? Maybe you should call the Consulate and see if you can apply for an expedite directly with them? I am not sure what else you could do.

I hope you hear something soon.

One more thing from me tonight:

I am trying to finish up my AOS package (so it will be already to send in) and I have a question.

I just graduated from college last year, so my income alone over the past three years is not enough for me to be the only sponsor for my husband. I am above the poverty line now, but for the last two years that I was a full-time student, I did not have a full-time job.

So, I asked my dad to contribute his income as well by filling out an I-864A (we have the same address until my husband gets here and we move out and get our own place).

Here is the problem: my dad files his tax returns jointly with my mother. So, do we also need to fill out an I-864A for her (and therefore also claim her in the household size)? Or can we just declare my dad's income?

Thanks for your help! Sweet dreams :star:

No, I didn't do the affadavits. If the consulate isn't convinced by the fact that I have gone to India three times in the last 14 months, and that I speak to my wife every day (atleast twice a day).

So i should expect a response in september-october 2009 time frame, after receiving a response how long is it before i get a interview date?

Will the response be for 1-130 or 1-129f?

I got my I 130 and I 129f approval the same day.Please chk my timeline.Nvc has not received I 130 yet .

I spoke to an operator on April 8th and they gave me case number for I 129f and said that it will be forwarded to embassy.

Embassy will contact the beneficiary for further correspondence.
