Hello everyone,

I just want to post my AOS package in here in the order I have it now before my wife and I sent our papers to NVC. Kindly check it and see if the order is in the right condition and if there is anything else we need then please give us a shout out and let us know please. We would totally appreciated it. Here it is:

* Document Cover Sheet with barcode

* Our personal cover page showing the order of the AOS Package

* Completed and signed 1864

* Petitioners letter of employment

* petitions photocopied paystubs from 11/06/08 to 4/02/09

* basically more printouts like paystubs that I had my payroll manager at work print out for me ( I don't know if I should all this for neatness or if I really even need to send it)

* petitioners 2006 W2 and 1040

* petitioners 2007 W2 and 1040

* petitioners 2008 W2 and 1040

* I864A completed and signed

* joint sponsors employment letter

* joint sponsors 2006 W2 and 1040

* joint sponsors 2007 W2 and 1040

* joint sponsors 2008 W2 and 1040

And that is it! I hope that we got this packet correct and if anyone wants to throw any hint or help then please. Like everyone else we are trying to avoid an RFE.

How do you plan on flipping your interview candid? Will you call/email them and ask, or do it when you arrive?

Call them and ask.. :) The guard would not let me enter the USEM building for K3 interview if my papers are incomplete. That means I need to prepare K3 docs like DS-156/157 if I am not mistaken and need to pay $131 for visa fee beforehand.. I would not want to waste money in doing that so we will just call and ask them again tonight.. My husband forgot about the K3 sched when he called this morning because he was too occupied in getting an earlier date for CR1 just incase they would not allow us to flip..

I am hoping to hear something on Thurs. just in time to get an interview date on Friday (right before the weekend) but not so sure...I would be pleasantly surprised if NVC can finish our review that fast. They only entered our papers in the system on 04/02 (last Thursday)... But looking at ur case Candid, yours took 10 exact days (including weekends). So on Thursday it will be 8 days for us, I just don't know...Hoping on karma stars for now :star::star::star::star:

Hey Seren.

I would assume that NVC is working on Friday because I know for sure that other government agencies are open...

Good Friday isn't a national holiday, so I would be surprised if they were closed.

Here is our update for the day: I called the doctor's office this morning to request another letter for an expedite (they already furnished one for me for the CSC processing, but our petition was approved before I even had the chance to send it in...). As soon as I have that, I will e-mail it to the NVC (as per the instructions from the representative I spoke to yesterday).

I am not sure how long it takes them to process the expedite requests... but hopefully we should get an answer fairly quickly. :unsure:

I have been hearing mixed things about whether or not they will approve it. Most people say that pregnancy is not a reason for expedite (unless it is high-risk), but then others say it gets approved if the person who is pregnant is the USC (as opposed to the intending immigrant). I have also heard that it is not considered an expedite for a fiance (k3) visa. However, it is considered to be a hardship on a marriage (so therefore a legitimate reason on a k1 or cr1/ir1 visa). So, I don't know. But, we figure it is worth a try.

My doctor was the one that offered to write the letter in the first place (I didn't even know that cases could be expedited when we started this process). She really believes that this whole situation (being apart from each other) is putting "unneccessary stress and anxiety" on my health. So, we will see.

Anyone else have news to report today??

Chrissy e Ben: I hope the expedite request is accepted by NVC - Good Luck.

How far in the process are you at NVC?

Queue: They just escalated the payment issue to supervisor yesterday, the rep this morning I spoke to informed me that as long as it shows paid online then it is their internal problem and should be fixed in a couple of days..............Hoping for case complete this week :wacko:

Still waiting for case complete! COME ON COME ON..I am getting impatient! How long does it take to review 2 forms?? lol ok ok I know they have a ton but still :angry:

Chrissy e Ben, ur situation is sooooooo hard. GOD BLESS U! IDK what I would have done had I been pregnant!! Already this process has taken its toll on me health wise! God help us all so that we are soon reunited with our loved ones!! Hang in there and hope ur expedite is accepted. It would suck if ur hubby isn't present at birth :( But then again I know of many courageous women on VJ who have gone through it all alone. That kind of strength amazes me and makes me feel like I shouldn't be complaining....

I know that there are a lot of women on here who couldn't be with their spouses for the birth of their child... I think it is really sad, but I realize that it happens.

I am prepared for the worst (i.e. he won't be here), but I am also still clinging on to the hope that he just might make it here on time.

Like I said, it doesn't hurt to try.

If he can't be here, we will be fine (me and the baby that is). I have my parents here and some other family... so I won't be alone. I will just be thinking happy thoughts... that me and Ben will be together again soon.

Seren, we just received our case number on Friday, so we are still at the beginning of the NVC process.

* Completed and signed 1864

* Petitioners letter of employment

* petitions photocopied paystubs from 11/06/08 to 4/02/09

* basically more printouts like paystubs that I had my payroll manager at work print out for me ( I don't know if I should all this for neatness or if I really even need to send it)

* petitioners 2006 W2 and 1040

* petitioners 2007 W2 and 1040

* petitioners 2008 W2 and 1040

* I864A completed and signed

* joint sponsors employment letter

* joint sponsors 2006 W2 and 1040

* joint sponsors 2007 W2 and 1040

* joint sponsors 2008 W2 and 1040

And that is it! I hope that we got this packet correct and if anyone wants to throw any hint or help then please. Like everyone else we are trying to avoid an RFE.

I suppose you will be fine with those documents.. Do not forget to put your case number on the top of each paper so it would not be misplaced. Goodluck! :thumbs:

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......
