Howz everyone doing?

I am still waiting for DS3032 to be accepted and IV bill to be generated...

Hopefully they will complete the AOS review today - No RFE pls

GS: Your packages should be on the way to NVC today hopefully? Now you just have to sit back and wait for NVC case complete

Hmm I'm confused with my paper work. I called NVC Last week for my NVC number and was successful and then I asked the operator what should I expect next and she said to take care of the Choice of Agent form, which I have emailed them but today I got an email today that NVC generated my AOS and IV Bill but they chose an attorney even though I have emailed them that I chose my petitioner instead. What should I do? I got my IIN and got curious so I checked the NVC's website to see if I can log in and I was successful. I am so lost  IF ANYONE CAN SHED SOME LIGHT TO ME PLEASE NOW IS THE TIME :innocent:

THANK YOU!!!

Do you have a lawyer? If you have a lawyer then he/she will automatically be your agent. You do not need to send them DS3032. Now, if you want your petitioner to be the agent instead of the lawyer then you need to inform NVC and send them an e-mail. In our case, my husband sent an e-mail informing them that we already terminated the lawyer and requested them to send everything to him (hubby) instead. I also sent several e-mail regarding DS3032.. It took 3-5 days before I finally received the response e-mail from them.

If you already have the AOS/IV bill combo then you could now pay both online.

Goodluck..

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

Congrats, the designated agent is your husband. Have him check his email to see if he received the bill. If he received the email, call NVC to confirm that the bill was generated (call a couple of times to validate). Then pay the bill.

Hey, am I allowed to join this thread even though im done with NVC????

Firs things first, start collecting documents for the AOS, download the DS-230 and start filling it out, and start calling the NVC to get your case number. After you get your case number, 2-3 days later your AOS bill and DS-3032 will be generated and mailed out. Once you get that status, email the ds-3032 from the beneficiary's email account. By then you should receive your AOS bill, so you will have your IIN, try to pay your AOS bill using the online system. Paying by check creates delays. Now if your DS-3032 has been generated, wait until an operator can confirm that your IV bill has been generated, once u get the confirmation, check again with another operator. If confirmed pay your IV Bill. Once both AOS and IV bill show a status of paid, print out the respective bar code cover sheets, and mail in your AOS and IV packages, then you wait for the magic words of case complete.

Now if you decided to go the K-3 route, then you have to follow the instructions of your specific embassy, but the documents you would have prepared will be required in any case. While the DS-230 remains the same, the AOS will require a different form than the I-864.

Hope this helps!!

Que - You are our chief consultant :) We need all the help we can get!

Can I verify that this is the right forum for me... if I rec'd I 129F approval, and my fiance will enter in june.. marriage in July, are the steps listed above what I need to do in order to prepare?
