NVC is a mess...every time you call you get some new BS info from the CS reps.

I have mailed in my DS3032 and emailed the same...now all I can do is wait for them to freaking accept the DS3032 and generate my IV bill.

They must be going crazy with all of the recent approvals from the CSC and VSC, which is really disappointing.

Everyone gets so happy when they finally get the NOA2 only to be held up in a major delay at the NVC

The shortcuts don't work if you can't even get a case number!!

Be very carefully with the IV bill. You must confirm with them before you pay it. I'm still in limbo waiting for NVC to generated my already generated IV bill. This is ridiculous. I received the e-mail with the IV bill on saturday but they still don't have it shown on their system and the supervisor told me not to pay the bill until they have it in their system because it can cause me a really long delay.

JAVC - I mailed the DS3032 on 03/21/09 and was rec'd at NVC 03/23/09, last night the NVC operator informed me that they take 5 days to process DS3032.

I have NOT paid the IV bill as like you I am waiting for it to be generated in their system.

NVC seems to be going RED (stop) Instead of GREEN

I too got an email stating that my DS-3032 is accepted but when i called up the NVC the operator told not to pay IV bill until is generated...WTH i can pay the IV bill online but they are asking me not to do it and how would i know whether IV bill got generated...

JAVC ...did you got any email attached with a .pdf file similar to AOS fee bill???

DS 3032 update: Hubby called this morning and was informed that our choice of agent was forwarded to the Supervisor for review??!!!

I know the system has problems generating the AOS and DS3032 on our case and iour case was forwarded to the Supervisor to manually send us an email.

Hoping same is the case with the Ds 3032 being reviewd such that she can generate IV bill....

Hey GS, Looks like your lawyer has all the paperwork in order...You should be done NVC by April 1st week. Hoping the same for me.

Unlike you I have to wait for my IV bill to be generated in NVC system.

Don't worry Seren, my packets won't be mailed out till Monday anyways. Still waiting for hubby's DS 230 to arrive and for lawyer to do a final check of the complete packet. He promised me all should be done and on its way to NVC early next week. I just want NVC to receive my stuff by March 31st so that I can hopefully have a case complete scd week of April by the latest (hoping that'll still get us a May interview instead of June).

WOW this whole NVC mess is giving me a headache. It sucks we waited 200+ days at VSC and now are to be further delayed because others are getting approved in 10-30 days!! Cases should be in and out of NVC on a first come first served basis Imagine someone getting there after being approved in a mere week and leaving NVC around the same time as someone else who waited more than 200+ days. I am not mad at those ppl gettin approved quickly, lucky them, just at this unjust process!

Anyone else approved in March that is still waiting on an NVC case number??

I think that maybe the CSC is on a delay or something because I call the NVC every day and they still have no record of receiving our case... I am getting frustrated because we have everything all ready to go!

Anyone have any advice??

A lot of ppl were in the same situation as you and had to wait 2 weeks to get a case #. Hang in there, urs is coming. B/c more and more are now getting approved from both CSC and VSC at insane super fast rates, NVC is slowing down to deal with the sudden surge of files arriving at their center.

Yes. I received the IV bill on saturday but when called on monday they told me the bill wasn't generated and same as serendipity a supervisor will generate the IV bill manually. I really don't understand why this think happended.

Thanks for the encouragement! And don't worry, you should be getting your NOA2 soon... they are moving so fast!!

I sincerely hope that this delay in issuing case numbers is not really just a trick so that the NVC can reduce their workload... I saw that on another thread too and I was so angry!

Someone said that they let the cases just pile up without scanning them in or assigning a case number when they are really busy... so it doesn't hurt the average processing times of the center because they technically don't even have the cases yet. It is ####### and I hope that is not what they are doing!!

It definitely sounds like a trick to me. Same as the USCIS trick of always posting the dates 2 mons back so ppl dont start calling once they are outside the 6 mons timeframe. Most ppl wouldnt pick up on these things if it wasn't for VJ but we knew better when they last updated their website on Dec 31st those dates were not the real dates...same thing is happening now with NVC. They have to somehow catch up and if they tell us wait for this or that, it's giving them time to process the ones they are already backed up with. All operators told me to proceed though nothing in writing to do such a thing.

JAVC this whole thing abt paying and not paying is ridiculous! I am in a similar situation. Both my bills were paid and NVC says they are paid but same BS abt a supervisor needing to fix it as AOS shows paid online and IV doesnt! I think they are having major problems with the IV fee payment. But operator confirmed that once we have the cover sheet we can ignore all that stuff about waiting for it to be generated....I got the combo email saying to pay- I PAID and have receipt saying I HAVE PAID BOTH. SO now what's this new nonsense about manually generating?? Isn't the purpose of going green to avoid the whole manual processing??? I am done worrying and waiting. Come Monday my packets are out. I have come to believe this glitch is yet another way to hold us back. Well I say no more! DAY 250 and I am getting really fed up of more waiting and one roadblock after the next!!

It took NVC 9 business days from the day they assigned a case number for them to generate DS 3032 for us. Good Luck!

Hang in there folks, NVC is getting a slew of cases that the service centers are now working on again. Also, the new system at NVC has a number of kinks that need to be fixed.

Someone earlier posted that they see the IV bill available to be paid online, but the operator tells them not to pay it. LISTEN to the operator. If you pay the bill, your case will end up in a pile of cases that have one system saying the bill is paid and another that says its not paid. You will then need a supervisor to clean this up. A number of people paid without the operator confirming it was ok too, and have been waiting for a couple of weeks to get it resolved.

Q, do u think this applies to me and those who have their cover sheets already? Did ARuba have her cover sheet for IV bill when her mess started?
