This is unI can’t believe what is happening with my IV bill. Don’t know if you remember last week I was trying to confirm that NVC had actually generated the IV bill since I had the access to make the payment thru the online system. Well, on Saturday night I got an e-mail from NVC with the IV bill. WOOOOWWW!!!! I was so happy because though that now everything will go faster since was only matters of making the payment and sending the DS-230 form but something inside me make me wait and confirm it with NVC today. Well, just to be sure today I called NVC to confirm with an operator that they had actually generated my IV bill. Well, guess what, nothing yet. The e-mail that they sent to me on Saturday is not in their system so they can’t confirm it.

Yes, I know what you are thinking right now… and yes I do have the IV bill in my e-mail.

I spoke with a NVC’s supervisor and she told me that don’t have any idea, how I have the e-mail with the IV bill. She said that normally they are having problems with people that have access thru the online payment system but never with the system that generate the bills. She told me that will request the generation of my IV bill again but that it can happen between today and a week because the system works with an order and she can’t do anything about that.

So again here I am just waiting for them to generate the IV bill AGAIN!!!!!!

NVC's paperless system really sucks!!!

Agreed, the paperless system has a lot of glitches that need to be worked out.

Serendipity - In the past people have gone for the K-3 interview, entered the US, and then gone back for the CR-1 interview. However, since you would have your K-3 and CR-1 at different embassies, I don't know how that would work.

I was approved on the 5th and I just got my K-3 case # yesterday. They still don't have a # assigned to my I-130 as of this morning.

This is my update...

As today, NVC has reviewed and accepted my AOS but false RFE was generated (DS-230 has not been received by NVC). I am still waiting for the IV bill to be shown as generated on their system. Hoping tomorrow will be day when I can continue this process...

How did u proceed with ur AOS bill? Did u wait till they said it's generated before u paid online and then got ur cover sheet? I was told as long as u can pay and get to ur cover sheet, it's doesn't really matter and u can send ur packages.

Call and find out if u can proceed. I already have cover sheets and instructions for both AOS/IV cz they were emailed to me as a combo email.

Cool! Me too! COME COME ON END OF THE MONTH WORK IN OUR FAVOR! I am hoping my lawyer sends our packages out by Monday at the latest and for NVC to receive them on MArch 31st, last day of our lucky month of approval

Yes u r not alone. Many ppl are in the same boat. It seems it's taking longer for NVC to scan/assign case numbers and do case completes now that a lot more ppl are being approved faster from USCIS. Hang in there. Urs is coming!

For what it's worth, I started a new topic about this. Anyone in the same situation or knows how to go around this,

I was wondering how is it that most VJers are sending in AOS and IV packets and it tells us on the online instructions to not proceed without NVC authorization. Do you think that is outdated information on their website prior to going green? My lawyer is dead set against sending anything until NVC gives the green light. I tried to tell him an operator told me NVC won't send an OK to proceed and that he needs to send our packet in as long as he's got the cover sheet (which he does!!). He keeps saying we need to wait for a list of things NVC needs. I am trying to tell him "No we don't, it's all online as per the instructions". I think he's got it twisted according to the old system. January and February NVC case completes, please chime in as your expertise is highly valued. Did you guys get a list of things to send and the OK to proceed from NVC in the mail? MOST CURRENT MARCH NVC CASE COMPLETES (who were there during the switch to email) any ideas?
