JAVC did u ever get an email from them insructing u to pay with the invoice number in it?? I am now freaking out. Q said not to since I have a lawyer things might be different for me...please advise if u got said email

I only received one e-mail but was for the AOS bill. Nothing yet about the IV bill

Thanks Que for the link. About the RFE :dance: well, I just confirmed twice!. Is a false RFE. They are asking for the IV bill but since they haven't generated the IV bill I will need to wait until they do it. I've just spoke with the nicest operator, she said that NVC is only waiting for me to pay the IV bill but she explained to me that I shouldn't pay the IV bill online until the IV bill is generated. She said that they are working with this "new system" and it has a lot of problems and they are getting a lot of queries from people that payed the IV bill a soon as they have the online access to do it. She explain to me that if I pay before the bill is generated it will make a mess on my file and it can take WEEKS!!! to resolve it. So now what? Just enjoy the company of all of my VJ's friends until a get drunk!! because of cource I will bring some PRESIDENTE (beer) to the weekend party!!! heheheh

We have a lawyer before. We terminated his service but since there has been delays with NVC system, we received a copy of AOS/IV bill combo for lawyer. We used that to pay the bills online.. There is no problem so far.

JAVC, the reason I am confused by ur post is cz u said "I'm waiting for them to confirm that I can pay the IV bill online because I have the access to do it." So for ur AOS u got the email but for IV bill so far u haven't? Is that what u mean by not generated? If u get the email instructing u to pay, does it mean it's been generated? And what do u mean u have access? Do u mean u have ur Invoice number for ur IV bill and can log on but waiting for the bill to be generated (via email) so u can go ahead and pay it? Am I confusing u and myself trying to find answers?

We got the combo email and also hoping there are no messy mess ups down the road!

The combo e-mail is the payment instructions with IIN. So there is no possibility that you would mess up with anything.. You could pay it yourself instead of asking the lawyer to do that..

This morning the operator told husbie that our case HAS BEEN REVIEWED. Now, I just got off the phone with an operator and she said that IT IS IN FINAL STAGE OF REVIEW!!! Which is which?

And what do u mean u have access? I was trying to say that I'm able to pay the bill online. In your case since they sent you both bills at the same time you were able to select/pay both bills but in my case I was only able to pay the AOS bill. Only after the NVC processed my DS-3032 was when I had the "access/option" to select/pay the IV bill.

Am I confusing u and myself trying to find answers? Don't worry, nobody understand this process. If you check the timeline of 10 diferent people here in VJ, you will find that no one is exactly the same. Some will have to wait 90 days for the %$#$% NVC to actually receive there cases. Others will have to wait for NVC to generate an e-mail with an IV bill, because they NEED to confirm that is TRUE what the online system said. Others will have to wait for NVC to do a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and a final review in his/her cases in order to be completed. As you can see there isn't one similar cases. Well, the only common thing in all cases is the BS that the operators tell you.

Candid, I believe this means u are very close!! As JAVC explained it can be reviewed by more than one person. I think typically, it gets reviewed by at least 2 ppl @ NVC and sometimes if needs be by a supervisor or third person.

Aruba, (((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) what you have been through and are going through is so frustrating!! Hope ur situation is finally resolved come MONDAY!!

Seren, I think u should pursue both. I am noticing there are two ways NVC operates. For those of you w/o a lawyer, you pay ur bills separate. For me and Candid and others with lawyers it's a combo email. Since u finally got ur email last nite, will u now follow both at this point or simply go with K3? Either way good luck!

Ok so hubby paid the AOS Bill but we do not intend to pay the IV bill online until we have confirmation from NVC that the paper bill has been generated.

I have a question guys. I have gotten the NVC case number and I am trying to get I 864 ready. I don't have any income as I am a student but my sister is sponsoring my wife. However she is just a greencard holder in US. Can a permanant resident sponsor someone or do they have to be US Citizen. Thanks guys.

hello ppl... can i join you here since i just got to know that my NVC case number was assigned on the 19th march and on the USCIS website it still shows that its pending.... but i just called NVC AVR and got my case number!! i would like to know if the W-2s are enough for my hubby's AOS package coz right now hes on deployment and for him to receive mail its a mess... and im thinking of myself as being the agent (im the beneficiary).... will that

be possible?? thansk a lot and may God help us all!!!
