Queue - Can I fedex my packet 3 to Bombay Consulate?

Does packet 4 have to be delivered in person at VFS?

Fedex to Bombay consulate will be expensive. I recommend sending it via first class mail. USPS from NY to Bombay takes about 5 business days.

How long does it take from where you are? If its the difference of 2-3 days, then its not worth the cost.

Packet 4 should be hand delivered since at that time, they will need to put a sticker on your passport and stamp your interview letter. You will also need the VFS receipt for the courier fees. If you go for the K-3, you will probably have to take 2 weeks off.

At this point considering I am going to have to spend $1500 on a airline ticket, what is another $$ for fedex charges :P

3 weeks vacation!! Is going to be a hard sell @ work! oh well!

There you go!!!! Pay the bill today, and you have already emailed the DS-3032, so that should get accepted by next week.

Time to get the other packages ready. 2 weeks should be enough time to get through NVC.

Heyyy, let me tell you what has just happended to me. I called NVC a few minutes ago to see if they generated the IV bill because (I've already explained this in a previous post) I'm waiting for them to confirm that I can pay the IV bill online because I have the access to do it. Well, I've just found that my I-864 package has a RFE. The automatic system say that they send me a letter explaining what information was missed or incompleted so now what??

I'm calling the NVC right now to speak with an operator... I'll update later...

Ask for a supervisor to see what the RFE is for? Is it the False RFE which asks for the DS-230 which you haven't submitted yet?

Thanks Que for the link. About the RFE :dance: :dance: well, I just confirmed twice!. Is a false RFE. They are asking for the IV bill but since they haven't generated the IV bill I will need to wait until they do it. I've just spoke with the nicest operator, she said that NVC is only waiting for me to pay the IV bill but she explained to me that I shouldn't pay the IV bill online until the IV bill is generated. She said that they are working with this "new system" and it has a lot of problems and they are getting a lot of queries from people that payed the IV bill a soon as they have the online access to do it. She explain to me that if I pay before the bill is generated it will make a mess on my file and it can take WEEKS!!! to resolve it. So now what? Just enjoy the company of all of my VJ's friends until a get drunk!! because of cource :yes: I will bring some PRESIDENTE (beer) to the weekend party!!! heheheh :dance::dance:

Glad it all worked out. The golden rule of getting through NVC: Don't pay or send anything to NVC unless asked to do so by NVC. :thumbs:

JAVC did u ever get an email from them insructing u to pay with the invoice number in it?? I am now freaking out. Q said not to since I have a lawyer things might be different for me...please advise if u got said email

03/06/2009 : NVC Received; 03/09/09 Case Number Assigned; 03/10/09 K3 stuck in AP

03/17/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills generated (by email @ 10:00 p.m.); 03/18/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills paid online

03/27/2009 : AOS/DS 230 package sent to NVC; 04/02/2009 : AOS & DS-230 entered into NVC system

04/14/2009 : Found out K3 was forwarded to the consulate in Leb and CR1 stuck in AP; 04/18/09: K3 delivered
