I got a lady on the phone, my case is still waiting to be reviewed

they can see i send two packages but not what they are even

so that is not so good

But 1 my cr-1 cannot cancel my K-3

after I entered the US with K-3 I can get out got to the interview outside the US and get CR-1 instead of Adjustment of status

so that will skip the $1010 for adjustment of status

SO I FEEL BETTER NOW!

I wish I could do the same but plane ticket from Manila to JFK is soooo expensive. It is more than the $1010 AOS thingy..

ooh no tickets are $500 and with some looking could find better or with more time can be flexible with travel dates

I am still wishing it will be done and in caracas before the 31 all do at this point it is wish full thinking i hope

so i stopped calling nvc, i think i will call next week or even right before i go to caracas to see

i will book my flight all of them this weekend or 1st thing monday

GS4Ever since you have a lawyer the DS-3032 step is skipped, your bills were generated and paid. Call NVC and ask the operator the status of your case, the operator will tell you if both bills have been paid. After my bills were paid I was able to download the respective barcode cover sheets and mail in my packages.

wooooooooof I can breathe a sigh of relief then. Still unsure how come my case and Aruba's case are different. I did talk to an operator a little while ago and she said they both show as paid; however she did say ur paper bills are not yet generated, whatever that means???

Yeah we are in the same situation way too expensive and scary though to do that. Once he is here, I am holding on to him!! Which is why we are soooooo desperate and want our CR1 to be free from the grips of NVC!! They can keep our K3 in AP as long as they want!

My husband wondered about that scenario, i was more afraid of my K-3 getting cancelled and not getting a CR-1 appointment till months later

Can you explain what exactly happended to you? I know you explained it before but I can't find where exactly.

This is my problem... Today I checked the NVC payment center (online account) and it shows the IV bill as NOT PAYED. So in other words I need to pay it. I remmember something that you said about confirm it with NVC before paying it so, following the advise I called the NVC and they told me that the bill wasn't ready yet. I don't understand why they give you the option to pay the bill online when it actually is not ready yet.

Can somebody explain??

Javc, you have to confirm that the IV Bill has been generated. Once the DS-3032 is accepted the first system shows the status as not paid, but the second system has not sent out the bill yet. IF you cannot confirm that the bill has been generated and sent, DO NOT pay the bill, you will end up with your payment status showing as paid in one system and not paid in another. The two systems are separate but synch up, if they don't synch up you will have to get a supervisor involved.

Q and JAVC did you guys both get the email letting you know the bills are ready? I got the combo email which I think came from the new system, so I think they are doing things differently now, as opposed to paying the two bills separately now they are both comined. But I am thinking maybe this only applies to me since I have a lawyer and can therefore skip the whole DS 3032 step. You should call NVC and find out what the deal is. I think I will call them right now just to make sure about this whole 2 system thing.

What about u Aruba? Did u ever get an email letting u know ur bill was ready to be paid before this whole mess began for you?

In my case I didn't receive the e-mail. I did receive the e-mail for the AOS bill but not for the IV bill. Hopefully tomorrow I will get that e-mail.

Hi here are the answers for some of the DS-230 questions posted last night: (This is how I responded to the DS-230 questions)

Question 14 - Spouses address - that should be the petitioners address, since it is the beneficiary who is filling out the form.

Question 20 - List addresses in reverse chronological order (most recent address first) and in the date range column make sure you write "Present" in the to column, otherwise you will get an RFE. The date range should looke like "1/1/1900 - Present" for the first location

Question 21a - The answer should be N/A, unless you will have someone coming with you to the US as a result of the visa application. The USC does not count in this case.

Question 21b - The answer should be N/A, unless you have someone related to you who will be immigrating to the US as a result of your immigration. (For example, your children)

Husbie called NVC few minutes ago. The operator told him that our packages HAVE BEEN REVIEWED.. And it would take few more days after that to make the case complete.. What does that mean?

They were done reviewing but not yet complete? I am confused..

"We are having problems with our system auto generating emails, as a result your case has been forwarded to a supervisor along with a pile of other cases. The supervisor need to manually generate emails on all these cases and the process will take 2-3 weeks and NO you cannot revert back to getting information in the Mail"

UNREAL....

so tell me... Is there only one supervisor??? I'm willing to bet that is the case... Hopefully yours is at the top of the pile ... These people are amazing. We pay all the fees they require and look how the papers get handled.... We should get refunds.

Go to Costa rica's consulate website, you can just google it. Look to see if they post the interview schedule on their website. Mumbai has a list of the interviews by case number. visa category, date and time.
