i have a mayor pain it called NVC it used to be called USCIS

My hubby can't call he has no time barely time to sleep or eat

I feel sorry for him

I have the same pain.. We all do.. You are not alone sistah! We all have NVC former called USCIS pain..

It is like a "boil".. Pain in the bu++..

I demand Garga work overtime! WE want GArga ! We want Garga ! Candid bring him out! Btw, I couldnt find peaceful demonstrator smileys. I am not mad just eager for Garga to step in

GS: I wish it were me...I am waiting for 11:30PM (lay off the phone then)

I am officially requesting NO WAIT IMPLORING GARGA to jump in and free up the lines for us at NVC so we can get through

That's more like, Candid! We need an army of Garga clones...lines still busy!!! I bet the operators are getting tired of us so maybe they left the phone unhooked

I just got off the phone...got a reqal nice guy for a change who told me I should receive the first package in 3-5 weeks ....as I have been at NVC for a week I have been drown graded from 4-6 weeks. REALLY!!!!

Anyway he said he has to give out that time frame and I should be getting an email shortly (Near future)

Q, question for u guru: Did u get ur inteview date the scd week of march prior to NVC giving u the OK for case complete or did u have to wait till they were done reviewing the case first and then told u the date. How did they notify u of the interview date and of case completion? Did they email you at both stages?

The case has to be completed by the end of the first week of the month to be part of the cases scheduled for interviews the following month. I checked with NVC the status of my case until the case was complete. I then called them the Monday of the second week, and was told that my case had been scheduled for an interview, operator gave me the date and time. The next day I received an email from NVC with the interview letter attached.

So they didn't/don't email when case is completed? You had to call to find out?

Does this mean completed as in u send in all required docs/ all payments made & received by NVC or completed as in reviewed & completed by NVC (i.e NVC REVIEW OVER)?

Yes you have to call and find out if case is completed and Yes all docs are submitted and reviewed by NVC.

Aruba - You should be complete before the interview dates are scheduled, your payment issue is cleared, and now its a final review of your AOS and DS-230..no reason to sweat, and technically you still have 3 weeks (First week in april also makes the interview cutoff). have you by chance been told that your case is in review?

Serendipity - Hopefully they generate the DS-3032 soon.

Candid Witch - You should be hearing about your case later today or tomorrow.

In terms of NVC slowing down, I think it has slowed down due to the recent flood of approvals, as well as them trying to switch to this new email system. Hopefully these little gremlins will be worked out quickly.
