I got updated "touched" today. Got three e-mails a couple of minuets apart stating RFE mailed out today. I really cant complain my case has been moving steady. As good as can be expected I suppose. Ok Im happy!

Congratulations. vermont is working extra fast, not like they havent been prior to imbra... someone pleaaaaaaase send over some coffee to CSC.... :D keeping my fingers crossed that this is going to be a good week for the rest of us who are still waiting...

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

Hi, I'm new to this all, so apologies for repetitive questions. I can't keep track of all the other Imbra threads.

I submitted my package to Vermont (received June 12), just before the new form came out. Although the date on the form is May 23, when I mailed the package there was no new form posted. I'm awaiting the RFE.

Can you tell me how to check if my case has been "touched"? I would like to track it to see... Gomez your case seems to be moving really fast.

I imagine they go by the date the received it. I am pretty sure. But hang on Vermont is rockin!

I also recieved an email that the RFE is in the mail today, Yahoo.

Bobo, I am not sure they are processing papers in date order of if they are just going to send to everyone at once, I say this because our application was submitted May 25 and today recieved an emai that the RFE is in the mail. With Vermont being swamped with paperwork it looks like they are just tryng to clear it all up as quick as possible which is good news for sure. Be patient I know they must be working hard to clear it up as quick as possible.

Gomez, yes I know so we will have to keep an eye on each others timelines to see if they stay inline with us having different countries to deal with, it will be interesting for sure. And happy that you are moving along as quick as I am, crossing my fingers for a New Years Eve wedding still :P

There has been a lot of activity out of Vermont for people who sumbitted in May even late May. It appears May is the lucky month. Perhaps June is next.

you may want to register with USCIS.gov to check your status online. It will allow you to check your status as well as receive email notification for any major changes to your visa application. Touches are good, that means that they have looked or accessed your file, as well as any current update. I hope this helps.
