The Korean embassy website says that they will let you know the appointment date 2 weeks after you apply for an appointment. It also says appointment dates can not be changed. How long did it take you from the day you applied for the appointment online untill that actual appointment date?

I am still waiting for my South African Police report so I dont want an appointment in the next month. I also dont want to wait a month to make the appointment and then find out it generally takes 2-3 months after you apply for the appointment untill you your date like with some embassies.

Wow, I'm trying to think when's the last time we had a Korea person on this forum. I wish I could help, but the closest I've been to Korea is in my avatar (Incheon airport doesn't count). Maybe someone will come out of the woodwork.

I happened to see that someone posted they had an interview in Korea next week so I contacted them private and they said they were informed of their interview date the day after they applied for one and it was 12 days later. So I will make sure I have all my stuff ready before I apply for an interview.

My wife just had an interview yesterday(Mar 6).

She did the online reservation on Feb 28 and received the interview next day.

So 6-7 days for us.

AOS and EAD

08/04/2009 - AOS and EAD received and Check cleared

08/06/2009 - NOA1 for I-485 and I-765

08/14/2009 - Touch

08/17/2009 - Touch

09/04/2009 - Biometric Appt @ 3:00 pm

08/28/2009 - Biometric done(Walk-in) - got yelled for coming early!!!!

08-31-2009 - Touch

09-11-2009 - EAD Approved and oreded a production of the card

09-12-2009 - Received an Interview Notice

09-16-2009 - EAD Card Production again??

09-21-2009 - EAC Card Received

09-24-2009 - SSN applied

09-30-2009 - SSN received

10-15-2009 - Interview @ 3:00 PM

10-27-2009 - Green Card Production ordered recevied via email

10-30-2009 - Received Welcome Letter

11-09-2009 - GC Received

ROC

08-09-2011 - I-751 Sent to Vermont Service Center

08-11-2011 - I-751 Received

08-16-2011 - Check Cleared

08-17-2011 - NOA1 Received(08/12/2011)

09-06-2011 - Biometric Letter Received(09/02/2011)

09-30-2011 - Biometric Appt @ 2:00PM

05-18-2012 - Approved

05-23-2012 - Approval Letter Received

05-25-2012 - Green Card Production ordered recevied via email
