how to include BC copies in I-129 packet

So ..... in preparation of my I-129 packet I have photocopied the front and back of my birth certificate as instructed.

But .... the back is blank. So I'll be submitting a copy of the front of my birth certificate, as well a subsequent copy of the back of my birth certificate ... which will simply be blank piece of paper. Do I need to label the non-descript blank piece of paper as the "back of my birth certificate"??

I was wondering about the same thing when we were copying my fiances BC. I decided to just copy and submit the front of it...didn't have any problems because of that.

I figured, even USCIS officers should be able to use their common sense at some point...(ok, was that mean?)

I really can't complain, our petition went through as smoothly as it could...

Just please make sure, you are using the correct (new/updated) I-129F form!!!!!

I submitted mine the same way. I documented the contents, including number of pages, in my cover letter. I can't tell you if it was ok or not because I am still waiting on P2!

I scanned my birth certificate (both sides, front and back) and then made a color copy and you can actually tell there is a page for the back side. The back page even has the stamp show through. But I don't think it matters. I was just able to do this from my job, so that's why I did it this way.

Why do you need a blank piece of paper - isn't the photocopy that you made of the front of your birth certicate an exact copy of both sides?

Write on the back of your photocopy 'this side blank on the original' and save the blank piece of paper for origami.
