Household member confusion (please help)

hi guys, i do not meet the income requirement and planning to use my mom's income. now my question is: i am only sponsoring my wife. so how many people are we including in my household? is it 3?.....(myself, wife, and mom)? however, on my mom's tax return, she listed my dad, myself, and my sister as dependents. so do i have to add them toward the household too?

On your I-864 you count 2 (TWO) Yourself and your wife. On your mother's I-864A she counts her-self and only your wife, NOT you. YOU are not a dependent of your mother, and your mother is not your dependent.

The I-864A is used to ADD mother's income and assets to your Income and assets, to get you above 125%.

If your mother were to use I-864 as a JOINT-SPONSOR, she would count herself and your wife on her I-864 and HER income and assets alone would need to be above 125% povertyline for 2 (TWO)

You will be in trouble since your mother income is lower than requirement:

thats only 100% of the poverty, you need 125% list. YuandDan, so i only need to meet the cut for a household of 2 right?
