Hello,

I have an emergency here, because we are trying to send our AOS next week but missing one essential element. Has anyone met a doctor that was able to fill out the medical paperwork for the vaccinations without any evidence of the medicals being done overseas. My husband handed all information (yes even his vaccination record) at the POE and now he has no proof of vaccination. Any doctors that were used that just went by the faith of the word?

Best,

well its really impossible for the md to transcribe anything. they need the vaccination record itself to know what vaccines were administered.

maybe you can go ahead and send it the packet without it and wait for the rfe for it, sometimes its not asked for anymore OR just attach a letter explaining that the vaccination record was submitted at the POE

NO DRs will do that for u. Either he ger -re-medical exam or contact the hospital that did his medical exam in nigeria to ffd to u.

We didn't have the I-693 (didn't know about it until after it had been sent) so I only sent copies of his vaccination records...no RFE, just waiting at CSC

i thought i just posted a reply but when i check back,it was not there..anyways, you need to have a "vaccination record" when you file for AOS..i have an immigration atty, i told him that i dont believe in vaccinations (personal conviction) but he said, i have to get one..so to make story short, i found out that there is another way, i went to a clinic (clinic recognized by USCIS) to get blood tests to prove my immunity,i explained to the doctor why i dont want vaccines (although i had vaccines already when i was a kid,but they want me to get vaccinated again) so anyways, my blood tests showed that im immune, so i sent that result to my lawyer together with my AOS application, months after that i got a letter from the immigration with my AOS interview schedule,my permit to work card, and permit to travel..dont submit your AOS applications without any proof of immunity or the vaccination record because after months of waiting your application will be sent back...

For a doctor to do that would be considered malpractice, so please don't ask them. Try to get a copy sent to you. You could go ahead and send your AOS without it, but in this day of electronic communication you should be able to get a copy fairly quickly, and then a civil surgeon can transcribe it and determine if any more vaccines are needed.

I'd re-med or get titers (sp?) done to prove immunity to those vaccinations that you know your husband has had previously, hoping in like our case you get approved with just proof of immunity. I had my interview last month and they accepted a letter from my family doctor who did my titers back in Dec because she didn't want to give me vaccines I didn't need (just because my dr in the UK had lost my school vaccination record I lost proof I'd had the MMR and DPT).
