I don't know what to do? Do we go to the interview with no medical? The problem is I talked to our case worker and he is not very happy and now I feel like we are screwed and I did this by checking medical. I don't know what to do? I am so upset and irrational right now. I feel like they aren't going to reschedule even though they said they would.

Did you bother reading my reply??????

not reading replies is sadly a common theme with this user. :(

The other options are to call and talk to them. He told us call him after we have our medical now he sent an email saying Mar 9th is our interview date? NO IDEA WHAT TO DO!

At this point I think you should do whatever you want. You obviously do not want any advice form those of us who are trying to help you.

I have told you 3 times what to do. What more do you want?

Take a chill pill and read the advice given here. Its not that dire of a situation.

Geez

I see what you wrote, but I have taken advice on here that has screwed me before. I guess I am looking for someone who has had this happen. It is a huge deal b/c we have spoken to our case worker and he is mad very mad. So we screwed up and I don't think he wants us to come without a medical.

Well. Your options are really limited right now given that your interview is on Monday.

I have seen this happen many many many times on here, where the interview happened before the medical, and the visa was held until the medical results were sent to consulate. Once the medical results were received and satisfactory, the visa was issued.

As for your case worker, he is not the one interviewing you, unless he is a CO, which I doubt. The decision lies with the CO. If your case worker made it clear that you needed to have everything completed before returning the checklist and you didn't, then I can understand him being angry with you. I would be too.

Given the situation you can go to the interview, explain why you do not have a medical and get your options to fix it, or, you can forget about going to the interview, and REALLY screw your chances for getting a visa.

You can wait for someone to come here and tell you something different, but, unless you can get the interview changes to a later date, you HAVE to go to the interview on Monday. No two ways about it

Your choice.

While it may be possible, it is highly unlikely that the report would be issued on the same day, as the doctor must await for the results of the tests (blood, x-ray, etc.). The only real options are those offered by Zee Bee.

Take a deep breath and start breathing again.

Then, take Zee Bee's advice.

Go to the interview, explain that you made an error when submitting your check list and it will be dealt with. With your SO coming from Cape Town to Johannesburg for the interview, see if he cant at least get an appointment for the medical scheduled for Monday right after the interview, it's close enough, not like you have to drive across town and have the doctor submit the results to the consulate if he will.

Otherwise, try reschedule your appointment
