WHat kind of letter, or rather what should the letter say from the employer. I am in the military, I would think my LES would be enough to prove I am in the military and working. Also, what exactly is needed from the bank? I can send my statements but what should be in the letter? I know I am ahead of myself seeing I just got my NOA1 but I want to be prepared so my fiancee will have the smoothest time possible.

Don't worry about bank statements, unless you are close to the minimum and you have enough to make a difference.

Your company commander, or higher headquarters, could generate a letter, explaining your terms of enlistment, and your expected annual salary for 2009. Perhaps, even a reference to your good character might help as well. There are a few active duty military on VJ, and perhaps one or two can give you some advice. If you don't get it in the PI forum, try the K-1 forums.

Good luck, and keep your head down!
