Hey guys and gals. I couldnt sleep last night. Hachemi was on his way back to Algiers to finish his medical. When he went Thursday, the Doctors office and the radiology place was open, but the place to get vaccinations and blood work was not. Let that be a lesson to our Algeria folks, dont schedule a medical on Thursday. Thats suxs because they didnt bother to tell him. So it is another 4 hour ride to Algiers. When we get the results of the medical, we can schedule the interview. Yeaaaaa. Hope everyone has a great day.

That's too bad Meriem... Inch'allah, it all goes smooth today! Good luck!

Well, for me, it's about to be "just another crazy manic Monday" also! About to hit the ground running! 3 classes to teach today, some work at the office and trying to catch up on what I didn't do this weekend!

Such is life... Have a wonderful day folks!

I hope he gets through things quickly today Meriem. It's always a good feeling when those details are behind you.

I've been cleaning, job searching, praying... LOL. My back is bugging me today so taking my time with the house work and skipping the walk today until evening. We're nearing our 3 month mark since the interview. This waiting is becoming very heavy.

This is kind of weird, but if you want to check a great weather website that navigates and loads fast, I have been using www.weatherunderground.com. I can even track the weather in Egypt easily so I know when Mohammed says IT'S SOOOO HOT I know he's not just being a baby. :P Anta noor el enaia ya Mohammed.

You know, DOS is a real trip. I wish like crazy the "visa specialists" would not "suppose" anything. She asked me if he had his 2nd interview yet. I said he is in processing. She said after a 221g all beneficiaries have a 2nd interview. This is news to me. I haven't seen it happen anywhere here for Cairo. I told her the 221g was for a form and they said after they received it they would process the case and make a decision. She said, 'Oh well, then maybe not." Well, PFFFFFT. I just blew 1 hour of my stupid cell phone minutes to play supposing games??? Blah.

Anyway, does anyone know of anyone going through Cairo that had to have a 2nd interview on a K1?

I really detest calling DOS. I'm just afraid to let our case go by without keeping an eye on things.

SubhanAllah, Alhamdulilah, Allahu Akbar! The world is in fact not going to end. My husband has come to his senses and realized that being a translater in Iraq would not be a wise career move, no matter how much they pay. I'm weak with relief. I love that boy so much that the idea that he would be in danger even for one second is enough to make me dizzy.

My best friend had a couple of friends that actually did that, One was killed.
