Had my interview in london and was approved last monday(woo-hoo!) but I'm still waiting on my visa/passport to be couriered to me. I was told by the girl I spoke to at the embassy that "this sort of visa(K-1) should normally only take 1 or 2 days to be delivered." Theres still no sign of it tho. I called them but I've been stuck on hold for about 40min's now listening to the same message over and over again... it's driving me mental! :bonk:

i had my interview on friday, and it didnt come till wednesday.... she told me 5 days ... i piad the standard 9.85 or whatever t was

K-1 Process:

I-129F sent - 20th Jan 2006

NOA2 - 18th April 2006 (APPROVED: 87th day!)

Packet 3 received - 5th May 2006

Packet 4 - 19th May 2006

Medical - 23rd May 2006

Interview - 9th June 2006 (APPROVED: 139th day!)

Married on August 10th 2006

AOS Process:

AOS/EAD sent - 13th September 2006

RFE on AOS - 22nd September 2006

Biometrics - 5th October 2006 (22nd day)

RFE Sent Back - October 28th 2006

Transfered to CSC - November 15th 2006 (63rd day)

EAD Approved - December 11th 2006 (90th day)

AOS APPROVED!! - December 14th 2006 (93rd day)

website says it CAN take up to 5 - 7 working days..(so don't include weekends)

Mine came after 2, and I paid the standard, no frills fee, but I live inside the M25 area, and I think it DOES make a difference where in the UK you are as to the time it takes to get to you.

Applied for K1

Met online 2001 - just aquaintances

Sept 2002 - 1st US visit - everything goes perfectly.

Dec 20th - Forms recev'd at CSC

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received

I had my interivew last Monday (12th) & received my visa/passport on Thursday. I'm based in the Midlands.

11/26/2004 - Met in UK as students

06/15/2006 - K-1 Visa received

09/23/2006 - Arrived at Newark Intl. Airport

10/27/2006 - Received SSN

11/26/2006 - Our wedding day!! (2 years from the day we met)

12/22/2006 - Filed AOS, EAD & AP

12/29/2006 - NOAs for AOS, EAD & AP

01/17/2007 - Biometrics Appointment in Philly

01/17/2007 - Email Notice of RFE for I-864

01/23/2007 - RFE received in mail - envelope open!

01/29/2007 - RFE mailed back to MSC

02/02/2007 - RFE received by USCIS & case processing resumed

02/09/2007 - AOS transferred to CSC

02/27/2007 - AOS *Touched* (case now pending at CSC)

03/14/2007 - EAD card production ordered

03/16/2007 - EAD Approval notice sent

03/19/2007 - Received EAD & AP in mail

07/11/2007 - Card Production Ordered! (Green Card on its way!!)
