Hey guys I sent in the I 129F and G325A with Passport photos of her and me with the names marked on the back of them. And several pictures of us together but none of the pictures has any markings or dates on the back of them. Will this be an issue?

Also I didn't send it with a cover letter and out letters of intent really didnt look like the ones posted up in the examples. So, I'm scared they will send it back.

I mean, I've sent in everything filled out correctly, I hope that was all I needed at the time. Will it get accepted now??

If they need something more they will ask for it, don't worry and good luck.

And I made a mistake of not totally copying everything I had sent in, big mistake or no?

Not making copies could be a problem for future reference. You didn't even make a copy for your fiancee?

AS long as the documents are arranged in the way you have written in the cover letter i think all will be fine. I just hope you put tabs below for easy sorting of the USCIS.

You will need to make sure she knows about your family and your background. When my wife went to her interview they asked her about my family. She should have copies of any documents you sent also.

Cover letters are optional, but a good thing. They will not send an RFE for a cover letter. Intent letter can be any way you want as long as you get around to saying you intend to marry within 90 days of her arrival. No problem.

For my petition I sent ONE photo, not date stamped and not in an identifiable location. If you go to my profile you will see the exact photo I sent. I also sent a two sentence description of our meeting, no description of anything else ('cause they didn't ask) and my passport stamps and boarding passes. We were approved without RFEs. I guess we looked enough alike to our passport photos and I had enough back up to be where I said I was that they accepted the obvious meeting was within two years. I think too much is made of "time stamped" photos and identifiable locations anyway. My camera (if not all) lets me set the date and time, so if I wanted to "dummy up" a date I sure could. My guess is USCIS knows this. You have no need to take the photo, for instance, in front of the Eiffel Tower, because it doesn't matter where you meet, only that you did and it was within two years.

Remember, you need only give plausible evidence you have met within two years for the petition, you will need more later. I think you will have no problem. If I am wrong, they will let you know. :)

THAT may turn out to be your big mistake. You will still get approved (or not) but if something comes up or something gets lost...good luck. ALWAYS make a copy, or two, for your files. I think I made dozens. Extras for Alla, for me, extras for the interview (I carried all documents PLUS put a complete set in my baggage, one or the other was going to get there) After the AOS was completed, I just cleaned out my box(es) and set up a neat file with a copy of everything I ever sent in three folders, I-129, Interview, AOS, closed it up and put it in the back of the closet. I also have a copy of everything in my computer. KEEP copies. I thne took all the original receipts, boarding passes, some various odd currency that found its way here, some photos, trolley tickets, subway tickets, opera tickets and put it all together into a "collage" in a frame. It is an intersting (for us anyway) collection of odd junque, but we still have it! LOL

Actually, the cover letter is not needed. The only thing needed is all the documents. As far as "tabs" or anything else, the file will be dissected immediately and put into the USCIS's very own file and a few minutes (or months) after arriving at the service center will look exactly like everyone else's. I have this on the authority of a friend's wife who works at the VSC within sight of my house. I didn't know this and sent in an elaborate (and really good looking) tabulated and color coded file. LOL She said they filled the recycle bin with the extra stuff. Paper clipping the different documents together is a nice touch and put a binder clip on the whole mess. But anything else is wasted effort, but it was FUN!!!!!!

By the way, the same is true of interview documents, except THEY will not dissect it, YOU will, and hand them the documents one by one to put in their file.

Yeah I have no time stamps on anything at all. I only sent them pictures and she put in a plane ticket when she came visited me. I didnt include a description of our meeting either, I didnt know that was suppose to be in there until now.

So are they going to send me a RFE for that stuff I didn't put in or just reject it altogether? And if they reject it, what happens then??

cover letter not required...

I sent photos without identifications

letter of intent is your own personal composition... as long as you indicate somewhere you intend to marry in the 90 days... no worries

YMMV

They won't reject it. They might ask you for more information called the RFE. Might be delayed a bit but not rejected.

Moving forward, I'd thoroughly read the guides here and follow their suggestions to a T.
