Reminder to remove conditions

This week I recieved a notice from USCIS (forwarded from my old address even though I DID change addresses with them) informing me that I need to file a joint petition to remove the conditions on my green card, which ofcourse I already knew.

I just wondered if anyone else had gotten this notice, as I thought they didn't send out notices!

Well that is good, I am glad that some people are getting these notices. I am already aware I am approaching the 90 day mark, but others may not be totally aware and it is helpful information.

We received one as well. Which was a surprise because I'd always heard and read that one would not be informed when it was time to file to lift conditions. Interesting that we received the reminder to file the I-751, but have yet to receive the NOA 1 upon actually filing it!

We got one, and I think it is safe to say at this point, based on what I am reading here, this is a new policy and everyone moving forward should expect to get one.

I think these days they serve a reminder. I got a letter reminding me of my timeline in terms of the I-751.

I got one today which like yours was sent to the old address and I too had updated with my new address.

I would just assume you won't get one and then you won't miss the deadline. I get the impression that most people don't forget to lift conditions, after all that we go through to get that far how could you forget?
