Hello,

It has been 2 weeks now that my I-129 got approved (NOA2). Today I called the NVC to inquire about tmy case status, I used their automated systems.

After typing the right case number the system said this number is not in their system.

Is this a normal occurence? even after 2 weeks...

I tried also to talk with someone but was re-routed to the automated system, each time. WHat's up with that!

The automated system does NOT track NON-IMMIGRANT K-Visas, you need to talk to an operator OR email them at NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

Moving this to NVC forum.

This may be the case for an IR or CR-1 IMMIGRANT (I-130) case. NVC does NOT place case status for NON-Immigrant K-Visas on the AVR.
