I had my interview last week, all went well, said it looked good and he would finalize reviewing that afternoon, said I should receive everything in the mail within a week - if not to make an appointment.

Nothing in the mail yet, and no updates by email or on the website.

How long does it usually take to receive some kind of letter?

We had our Interview Dec. 8, 2008. The guy that interviewed us didn't even tell us if we were approved or not and we haven't rec'd any updates or anything in the mail either. When I call USCIS they just tell us we're still in the normal processing time  That doesn't make sense when I see everyone else on VJ gets told whether they're approved or not at the time of the Interview and also get an approval letter within a week or two after the Interview.

Just letting you know, just in case your takes as long! Good Luck!

We were approved recently. Got my stamp in my passport and our IO said that the real card would be arriving whithin 2-3 weeks. One week after our interview I got my welcome to US letter, so I am hoping to get my card after another week or so.

I feel bad for you. I will never understand how USCIS works. Hope you will get it soon.

I'm wondering if they put the middle eastern people under yet another review when they get here! Didn't we already have to wait long enough before they came here because of reviews??!!! We are losing our patience also! And I can't even make an Info pass appt. because every time I try it says it's says the site isn't secure!! LORD!:angry:
