I was reading some posts based on IIN search on this site. Lot of ppl from last year posted that they had hard time getting IIN from operator. Is this still the case? Do they still give you hard time in giving IIN? Are people still calling multiple times to get IIN?

I think it all depends on the operator you get....give them a call during later in the day, that may help.

In most cases lately the operators are not giving it out. I would just wait for it in the mail. Ours was received in less than a week. You cannot pay the IV fee until the DS3032 is accepted anyway. So by the time that happens you will have your IIN. Once you get the IIN everything will fly!

We too had hard tme getting IIN from operator but it was received in mail in about 1 week. By the time ds3032 is accepted you should have it in the mail. It really doesn't slow the process down. goodluck

Don't bother with the IIN, focus on getting your DS-3032 submitted, and your AOS /DS-230 packages ready. The IIN will arrive in the mail with the AOS bill, at which time if your DS-3032 has been accepted you can pay both fees, wait 1 or 2 days for the payment to be accepted and then mail in the packages.

Yah...I am still waiting for my application to arrive at NVC and get a case # assigned. Just doing bunch of research/question ahead of time...

I didn't bother to ask for it on the phone. I waited for it in the mail. IT really just took a few days and by that i mean about a week for me to recieve the AOS bill and DS3032 in the mail and it had all i needed. Focus on getting your packages together because if it is ready when they are ready, your process will go that much faster. :star:

no point begging for the IIN...wait for it to appear in the mail. it shouldnt be more than week. its smooth sailing from there. good luck!

if the choice of agent is the beneficiary, all the correspondence will go to the beneficiary directly. i hope that helps.
