Hey all it was amazing today to wake up and find out an asteroid just missed hitting the Earth by a very little distance. One scientist interviewed said it passed at about the same distance from earth as the orbit of some of our satellites. I find it amazing that it is after the near miss we get any report. What are we gonna get when one hits? "In today's news an Asteroid slams into Texas" said the Dallas Daily News---LOL. But we hear about a stimulus for a mouse for 2 weeks before the bill is voted on HAHAHA.

i just saw that news report. less than 49,000 miles away, or 1/5 the distance to the moon.

and noticed just 2 days before it was at it's closest point :blink:

yeah the expert they had on FOX News said 1/7 the distance to the moon is what I saw. It was the size of a football field.
