asking help from VJ members esp. Filipina

Hi to all members of VJ..

I am just very anxious about my coming medical examination although I don't know yet when will be the real date since we already got approved last 25 feb.. I am looking for some people that can give me answers about my worries in medical especially those Filipina that had same experienced I am having now.. I am really worried if having a history of tuberculosis will be caused of our problem with my fiancee during my medical examination soon.. We got all the supporting documents to prove that I am fine now..

Is this really enough for me to pass the medical examination on my X-rays?

Please, I would love and very happy to hear from someone that will heartily give their advices and answers to my concern

A TB history won't be an issue if the tests they run on you come out pretty good... I have never had TB before, but when I went to SLEC for my medical exam i sat and talked with someone that had a TB history, all she did was she brought all of her test results or whatever the doctor gives you to prove that you're OKAY. I think she went through just fine... because I saw her at the embassy when i went for my interview. Just make sure that you are in great shape when you go to your medical exam. Good luck!

if you have scarring on your xrays you will need to go through the sputum test, I did. I had tb 2004 and was treated 2005. 1 lung cleared up during the treatment but the right side didnt and shows scarring every xray. I brought all my xrays, Rx, etc and because there is scarring on the film, I had to undergo the sputum test, which of course came out negative. you should be ok since you are treated, just bring all your documentation, bad thing is it would delay you by 8 weeks to wait on the culture results.

I have all the documents to proved that I am fine since last 2003, and recently my soon husband took a skin test last january and turns out negative.. I'm really crossing my finger now
