According to my Orthodontist, you should never be "done" with the retainer. Teeth have a memory and they WILL go back (worked in dental for a while).

Hope everyone is having a great day! We're heading to something called Raw Hide this evening. This time tomorrow I'll be at the airport waiting to take off for home. I miss home....

my oldest got his off probably 2 years ago and we are almost done with retainer

my middle child needs them and my youngest is prepping

we made it first time around with the help from grandparents and dont know what we are doing with the other 2

i dont even have dental coverage!

I swear, just working to hand our money over to everybody else

I am only 36 and completely tired of it!

I know it's like buying a car with the price of these things. My middle son was born with a cleft lip and palate so today I was told that pretty much until he is grown he will be wearing braces. My daughter has a lot of issues going on with her mouth as well. She has to have a few appliances in as well as the braces. Poor kids....I am just hoping that my ex fesses up and pays his half. I do have some ortho coverage but it's only about 1500 so its better than nothing.

Like Olivia said...it's well worth the sacrifice to give our kiddos good teeth.

We are leaving Saturday. Our flight is at 2pm. Its direct to Riyadh. We have to leave our house at like 5-6am to make sure we are down at JFK on time, we usually stop and have a meal on the way and then we have a few potty stops too--we live about 4hrs away from the city.

yaaay im sooo excited for u!!! we cant have enuff of the babies and its time to add to the bunch

thank you for asking; everything turned out good thank God and the doctor was so friendly and very open minded; totally loved her! I will go for another ultra sound next monday where i can get a picture! i didnt get one this time

My sis still has one in her mouth from years ago. It is cemented to her bottom teeth under her tongue. She said nobody wants to move it because they fear her teeth will shift. She has the most beautiful smile now that she has had her braces and went through her treatment. I want to say that built in retainer has been there since she was about 17 and she is 31.

Also, Jess have a safe trip too dear. I am sure you will be glad to be home with hubby. Your baby is really growing up so quickly. My hat is off to you traveling with a little one that far. Arrive safely if I don't talk to you again until you leave.

HLM, when it's time are you going to find out the sex of the baby? What an exciting time!!! I am having to live bicariously through all of you pregos! Me and hubby aren't having any more babies and really shouldn't ever think about it but still I love them to pieces.
