On exactly 4 months of waiting .... I am still shaking

Hello everyone,

I just got home and checked my mail (postal mail) there I saw a letter from USCIS indicating our petition was approved on July 22. I am excited and shocked cause I never got any email from uscis.

Anyway, congratulations to to everyone with recent approvals and best of luck the rest of this journey.

Now I'm just right around the corner, my NOA2 will be here any minute now

When they tell you that they have sent it out, lets say they say it was sent on the 27th, you add a day and track it on the DHL tracking by referance, the referance you enter is EXP (2 digits for day) (3 digits for month) yearA

So if they sent it on the 27th your tracking date would actually be the 28th (they send it the day after) and you would track by referance EXP 28 JUL 2009A

So did you find out if they sent yours? There is another one to Rio that was sent out today, so not sure which one is ours. Maybe the one sent today since she told me yesterday, "We sent it out today." If I have to add a day then it would the second one because our reference number would be one day later. Either way I will track both packages to the embassy!

If she told you yesterday that it was "sent off today" then it would be the one today! Congrats!

Franziska, I don't know everything, im just a research guru, I can google up an answer to pretty much anything You think this is good, my fiance thinks I'm a genious just because I read things like the bathroom readers and watch documentaries on TV, so I'm full of useless knowledge lol. If I didn't know what was going on in this process we would be so screwed cuz Wes doesn't understand any of it, he just knows he wants be down there

menina: on friday I was told that they are still entering our case in the online system and that I can call back mid of next week. I guess we had to seperate and are not box roommates anymore

what website do I track the packet. dhl.com ?? couldn't figure it out.

I know. I am sad we are not box roommates anymore too. To check the status you go to www.dhl.com and click on track. Then track by reference. In the reference box you put this format (using the date for the day after they told you it was sent): EXP 25 JUL 2009A. Then put in a date range. You might have to change the dates a couple of times. Then a list of packages shipped on that day will show up, and you can see if one to Germany has been sent. It it has, you will be able to click on the number and track its progress all the way to the embassy. It seems pretty standard for VJ members that when the operator says they sent it out "today" it gets picked up the next day. I'm sure yours is almost on the way since you have identified that they have received it at NVC. Also they will send a letter saying it has been forwarded. I have not received that letter yet, just confirmed on the phone. Good luck!! Oh by the way, I was having some trouble with the DHL website today, so you may want to try again if it doesn't work the first time.

Well I'm back from a weekend in the middle of nowhere, glad to see more approvals have gone through...congrats! I hope we hear more next week for our group.

For my ticker, I got it at tickerclub and you just paste the code they give you in the signiture box.
