Something tells me it is something different to the usual procedure applications go through. Am I right?

Sometimes it can be a random check that a petition goes through at NVC before it is forwarded to the consulate, even if USCIS never picked up a hit in any of their databases that they check. Normally K-1's enter and exit NVC fairly quickly, within a matter of days. Not sure about beneficiaries from "higher risk" countries if they are more prone to have their petition put in AP at NVC.

So I called DOS today just to see if they have gotten my package back and the lady said we haven't gotten an interview yet. I asked her if that means the consulate got my package and she said yes...though I'm hoping she ment yes they got my P3 that I sent back and not just that the consulate has my case lol. I asked her as well to check the notes and she said they have noted that I have an early October wedding, so at least the consulate did put that down Now theres nothing to do but sit and wait for the interview I guess.

I just got the notice the the feds got our RFE package and now I am crossing my fingers that we get the NOA2 soon

Just got off the phone with the NVC & they said they recieved my I-129 on July 17th & have allready sent my package to the Bangkok Embassy on July 20th!!

I was luck to not get stuck in the NVC!!

NVC told me that they shipped on 20th.. but DHL got a request on 21st. i am tracking it now.. it should be delivered today.. on delivery truck now. :-).. does this mean i can call them tomorrow? Or should i wait for P3 to arrive first?

called nvc again. they got our case yesterday. the 22nd. should be so happy that things are moving, just so want to make it to the us by september the 19th (for our best friends wedding and they asked me to take their pictures, they can't afford a photographer and I'd be so sad if I couldn't help them out, also want to be back for my grandparents 60. anniversary dec. 19th in germany and need to get an ap in time for that) and afraid I won't make it. whish our case like others would be on its way to my consulate already. got to keep hoping.

sorry I am whining when others haven't even gotton their noa2 yet.

Don't worry. I just now called NVC and they have received our case on July 22nd and forwarded it today, so I'm sure yours will be going out soon. Try calling tomorrow as I called them a few hours after you did, and they may have sent it by now! Good luck!

And looking at the fast responses from the NVC, I better start calling them too. For all I know the paperwork is already on it's way to Belgium.

HAHA I was telling my fiance the same thing that we are identical in our timelines. Did you call nVC again Don't want to give you false hope, but I looked up the DHL tracking status, and they sent out a package to Germany yesterday as well as ours to Rio and several other countries. Maybe yours was the one sent to Germany? Good luck!
