Okay guys I got an e-mail today that said they are needing additional information from me. I know its probably a copy of the front and back of my birth certificate and my sons birth certificates cause I only did the front (on accident). This sucks they advised they sent a letter yesterday to advise what info...this just pro-longs the process...I'm really pissed at myself!!

Yes and no. I know my package was sent out, but I still haven't received it. Apparently they send it by snail mail. I'm really hoping to have it by the end of this week but tomorrow is Canada day so there is no post :( Hopefully Thursday or Friday, I will let you guys know once I have it! :D

where are you in ontario? i've lived in both montreal and hawkesbury area..and from what i know usually canada post is 3 days maximum. do you have any tracking info at all? Keep in mind i think i read a few ppl who never got p3 from montreal and had to request it a few times. Keep hounding them Steph.

as for how i am..well..tomorrow is the day..that i get to see my sweetie!! YAY :dance: he's down until the 5th and we rented a motel close to the mall etc.. so everything is close by. teehee, i can't wait..it's been too long since i last saw him :) Hopefully when he's down here we get NOA2.

I'm in Kingston, they didnt give me any tracking information. If I dont get it by the end of this week I will email them again to let them know I havent received it and request them to send a new one, I'm really afraid of not getting it, but I'm hoping that maybe I can plead to them about the interview due to the packet getting lost. I really wish they sent it by priority mail so I could track it or so that I would know it will actually get to me.

Congratulations to all of those whom have gotten their NAO2's recently. And for those who haven't, hang in there! It's coming soon!!! :)

After calling the NVC about 50 times since Monday and getting nothing but a busy signal (How is that possible? Must be really busy now.) I finally got through today and found out that our petition was received Wednesday 6/24/09 and was sent out 6/26/09. So it's on it's way to the embassy!!! I'm very happy right now since I get to see my baby soon!!!

NОА1 он тhе 13тh... and RFE just now?... wow... that means they do not work on the case daily... it is just that backlogged.. it would take 10 minutes.. to look over the sent paperwork.. and maybe an hour to look up SS numbers of petitioners.. Wonder what is happening the rest of the 5 month

NOA1 is just a receipt. Our cases are sitting on shelves or in files or something until it's our turn, unfortunately.

Your RFE means that you're only a week or two away from approval, once they get the info back, though. Correct me, someone, if I'm wrong. Usually, you get priority if they're waiting for a bit if information.
