Hard copy of the NOA1 and the return receipt arrived in my box at the same time. But at least we got in the system.

Now the real fun (waiting helplessly) starts.....

Definitely hoping that 40-60 day approval time frame holds up.

Got my NOA1 in the mail today. It was definitely a surprise b/c my bank still has not posted my check being cashed. Also, I still haven't received my delivery/signature confirmation (green postcard) in the mail yet. Now, I wonder why I even bothered to pay extra for it.

But, anyways, from what I see on the NOA1, the received date is 3/11/09 and the notice date 3/12/09.

Now, the waiting for the NOA2 begins!

Well, the bank has now posted the check as being cashed. However, still no postcard from the USPS (it's probably lost by now).

I'm still frusterated that I can't see our status online. I know its not a huge deal because a lot of people say they never recieve any email updates, but I would like the OPTION to sign up for them. I have double, triple, quadruple checked our case number, got him to read it off the NOA1 again, but still nothing comes up. GAH!

I had to guess one of the numbers.

WAC then 0...0 was hard to read.

But we don't check our status all the time

Waiting on the NAO2 as well....early May sounds like a good time to get the NAO2.

Well if by chance I get lucky, 43 days would be my birthday, which would be awesome, but even going with 85ish, may sounds great. I wish my consulate was faster though because it will still be another 4 months to get my interview after that ><
