Does anyone know when they're going to stop working on the H1B visas? I would like to see someone in here get approved.

Not sure but they haven't been getting too many more?

They still have space for about 20k out of 65k more H1b's :( not much change in the counts from last month to this month). The 20k People with their masters wanting to work is full though. :) So that is some what good news. I hope.

Where did you get this info?

Its on the USCIS website. THey have a section under the processing times for the H!B's and it shows that as of the 4th they were still accepting applications.

I still hope June. July would be too sad :( They have to make use of the extra money we're paying them. Heck, with the difference from $170 to $455 you'd think they'd do something for the "customers"...

*Sigh*, what can we do? Not much at all, just wait and wait. Only thing I can do is keep myself occupied. May isn't over yet, but it doesn't look like there will be approvals. Yet, I still want to remain positive for all of us here.

At least my fiancee will be here next week, so at least there's something I'm really looking forward to. Who knows? Maybe I'll get the NOA2 while she's here. That will make things a lot more better!

I think the part thats getting to me the most is that I most likely won't see Wes until I move. He can't take time off work at the moment, and I cant afford to fly with having to do the medical and moving my stuff. I miss him so much, I wish that we could see each other at least once during this, but if it can somehow be done by the end of this year I think I will survive....I just want to hold him again. :crying:

People, what happened with our timeline:

There is not enough data in the timelines to accuratley approximate when your I-129f will be approved.
???

 Not again! This doesn't look good. Especially, the move of I-129F NOA1 to NOA2 (Approval) Time on 102 days for CSC

Uff, I am obsessed :(

Kind of the same situation, except I'm like your fiance in that I can't take time off work. I get very frustrated (with my job) because sometimes the foriegner thinks "you don't WANT to take the time, you don't WANT to see me for more than a few days," when it's really American work culture that gives you 2 weeks vacation per year and even taking more than a day is met with grumbling and complaints.

I really hope everyone in this thread is finished by the end of this year. I am holding out hope that my fiance will be here in time for my bday in December. I have been with my fiance since I was 21 and this year I'll be 25... I really cannot tolerate anymore of my 20s in this stupid limbo where everything is on hold, not just my romantic life but my academic and career plans.

And ####### with this timeline bull? Do they do these effing work visas every year? What am I paying for? Why didn't I just throw my $500 fee in a black hole and move to Europe.

Sorry. Angry :)

yeah its definately hard. Coming from Canada we have the same kind of vacation ######, so even if I could go down financially, it would only be for a couple days because of using up most of my time when he was here in feb. its so annoying, and its painful but at least both of us know its not because we dont want to see each other. Stupid jobs and their limitations.
