Hi everyone. I'm just now joining all of you March 2009 K1 Filers. I mailed my I-129F petition on 03.31.2009. Received NOA1 (04.06.2009)... Patiently waiting for NOA2... In the meantime, I am counting down the days until I fly out to Germany to visit my love. 7 more days! :)

Welcome!

and have wonderful time with your fiance

Thanks for all the welcome wishes! I just want to say that this site has helped me through MANY of my questions about this K1 process here. Thanks again!

Congratulations on getting engaged in May, everyone. Happy anniversary!

Umm I am feeling a bit like the black sheep in here since I got engaged in January...also, my fiance can't go anywhere until after a certain date, so I feel like I'm not as obsessed with USCIS as everyone else, since that is not the only thing preventing things from moving. Anyone else like this? It's really chewing up my spirit and spitting it back out. :-\

Does anyone know when they're going to stop working on the H1B visas? I would like to see someone in here get approved.

Well, I am another "black sheep" - we got engaged in February. :star:

I would also like to know that!

We're in a similar situation, but it's me that can't leave the country until a certain date, not him. It's hard I know, and I also feel a bit like I'm not as obsessed with the USCIS as some people are here. It's downheartening to know that even if we did get our NOA2 tomorrow, we wouldn't be able to be together until at least the end of January next year. I'm still very desperate to get that NOA2, just so that I can feel confident in knowing that we DO have it.

Does anyone know when they're going to stop working on the H1B visas? I would like to see someone in here get approved.

Not sure but they haven't been getting too many more?

They still have space for about 20k out of 65k more H1b's :( not much change in the counts from last month to this month). The 20k People with their masters wanting to work is full though. :) So that is some what good news. I hope.

People, what happened with our timeline:

There is not enough data in the timelines to accuratley approximate when your I-129f will be approved.
???

and just the last night it was: "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between July 12, 2009 and August 5..."

It is very odd....probably something going funky with the programming. I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

^^^ I hope that's what it is.

It looks like 2 couples got approved on Igor's list, the #1 couple on the NOA2 list got approved 2 days ago. Good to see the list moving again. :)

I am happy to see that most of the recent (about 5) approvals were petitions from February. We are moving slowly, but at least we are moving.

still have hope that by the end of may we have an approval in our march group.
