Actually I'm going to go with that I think the number I thought it was is wrong. The more I look at it, some of the digits look like letters, some I can't figure out at all, so once we have the NOA1 it should help lol.

if you are as impatient as i was, if you can read some of it, you could probably guess the rest! ((yea, i spent wayyyy too long trying to do that, but i couldnt read any of the last 4 numbers haha))

Lol. I am very much impatient. I was up until about 1:30 trying a bunch of different combinations. Are all the digits after WAC numbers or are some of them letters? Bah, guess I will have to wait till the paper gets here. I assume the NOA1 is shortly before/after the cheque is cashed...so maybe we might get the letter next weekish?

Hm I think you tried incorrect combination. My case starts with EAC and then only numbers. Maybe the mistake is that you kept typing WAC???

EAC is for Vermont. WAC is for California. and Its just WAC and then numbers. no other letters I couldnt find mine off the back of the check unfortunately.

hmmmm. Now I'm going to have to get a copy of the cheque from home and try to decifer it at work lol. I could have sworn one of the letters looked like a t, but it didnt work when I put it in as a 1. I'm kinda curious to see if I can crack the code

We just filed our petition on the 6th March.

We're actually planning on a Feb wedding, so there's plenty of time for us. Good luck to everyone that has also applied this month.

Has anyone else recieved their NOA1 yet? and if so, are you able to track through the USCIS site? I want to sign up for updates but can't because it says our case isnt there...was wondering how long we should actually wait till we call to make sure everything is ok. The number from the check matched what was on the NOA1 form, so its not that we entered a wrong number, unless we were given a wrong number somehow. *shrug*

Got my NOA1 in the mail today. It was definitely a surprise b/c my bank still has not posted my check being cashed. Also, I still haven't received my delivery/signature confirmation (green postcard) in the mail yet. Now, I wonder why I even bothered to pay extra for it.

But, anyways, from what I see on the NOA1, the received date is 3/11/09 and the notice date 3/12/09.

Now, the waiting for the NOA2 begins!
