I know, bummer on the estimated time changing by more than 2 months. Lame...

I think I'm the only one who is relieved that the waiting is in the hands of the USCIS and not in my hands. The delay is the government's fault not mine. For me personally when I graduated from college I had to get established with a job and address before I could file the papers--THAT waiting was torture, I felt like a failure when things didn't fall into place immediately, etc. It took me 2 years to get to the point where I could file so it's a relief even if my case is PENDING

At least this way I have done everything and now it's the USCIS' turn to do something. It's more infuriating than heartbreaking for me now. Like when people were getting approved so fast, I was hopeful, but now that the time has seemingly slowed down, I think, "oh, so those people's applications were so much more special than mine? what-the-F-ever" There's no point in thinking like that, but the 4-year-old part of my brain thinks "no fair....."

Anyway whatever I'm going to the beach :)

I don't think it means anything.. i think it is based on the date of the app they worked on last.

Dates cannot go backwards. SO it is not very accurate. The only accurate thing they i know is I-129F takes 6 month, And everything else is a NICE surprise.

EXAMINE WHAT YOU BELIEVE TO BE IMPOSSIBLE, THEN CHANGE YOUR BELIEF !!!

Well,

Just got off the phone with them again, now that 30 days has passed I can inquire as to why my case isn't online and viewable. They just keep telling me that they are backed up, :ranting: but the good news is that my application looks good and that everything is there according to the phone person and that there has been no RFE"s or anything requested for my application, :D but no NOA2 issued yet either :crying:

Back to :clock:

Oh wow! Did they actually tell you that your application looks good? Or just that they don't have a record of RFEs and all? That would mean that maybe they are actually working on March. I have passed the 30 day mark as well with no info available online, but the only thing they say when I call is that the application is still pending. Good luck to you!

Good for you Mike, perhaps the call will trigger something positive for your case. Anyway please keep all of us informed on the progress.

Yea I was quite specific when she gave me that info, I was like any NOA2's issued? hehehe, she said no not yet and from looking it over that everything was there and she saw no reason as to why I would get an RFE. :) I actually asked about that for clarification!

and Since I am not in the system, she's going to email someone on up the chain and get my record added to the online thing. lol but said wait 30 days for that lol.. :clock: again

Just curious if you called the USCIS national center or the CA center. The only contact info I could find was for the National center. Maybe I should try asking them to email someone to add me to the online system. We filed about the same time. Please keep us updated. :) Thanks!

That sounds great! It's better than getting a "touch." If only we can be so lucky! I've been waiting for over 40 days now and the online system still says I'm pending.

I'm still keeping my hopes up!

Well that gives me good hope. Based on the Berkley Igor's list, they just updated their timeline today...so if they just got their paperwork today then it took almost 2 weeks to get to them....never know...we might have a bunch of NOA2s in the mail!!!
