still waiting for my good birthday news lol.

Wes did send me a lovely card though, made me cry, saying how much he loves me and that even being this far apart that he still feels closer to me than anyone else. *sigh* Hes so worth the wait....but I wish I didnt have to wait!

Happy Birthday :)

Maybe we should all find a topic we would like to chat about. I am trying to think of one.....maybe what is everyone else doing next. Are you guys going to take the medical right before the interview? Which forms can already be filled out? ..and so on. I figured that there can be a lot of time wasted when I am not prepared when I get the packet 3.

Maybe that gives everyone something to do besides being sad all the time. Everytime I work on something like a form I feel like I come close to seeing my loved one again.

I have beem dating my fiancee since the summer of 2000. We've been separated numerous times. I can deal with it this time pretty good, because it will finally be the last time. I am trying to enjoy time with my family as much as I can, because I know I won't be able to come back all the time.

Maybe that helps the very desperate ones of you. Although when I think back nothing really helps when you wake up in the morning and feel like crying.

I wish you all a good weekend and maybe we can find something interesting to chat about since we are all about on the same timeline.

Fran :)

I have started to get things ready for the embassy - have applied for police cert, have passport photos, and am trying to find the forms I will need. Kay has all her stuff ready as well to send to me. Just waiting for NOA2.

I have already filled out the DS-156K and the DS-230 as the info on those 2 won't be changing, just didnt sign or date them yet. Because Wes hates paperwork I filled out most of the I-134 for him so that he just needs to get supporting evidence of support for us, and to find out if his job will let him put the actual street address of the company or if he has to put the PO box as he's not suppose to tell ppl what the address of the place is.

I have also completed my g-325a, I-131, I-145 and I-765 minus any references to SSN or Alien Number as I dont have those yet for my AOS so that when I have moved and we get married I am not scrambling to get that package completed. I'm going to apply for my police cert once I get Packet 3, as I can just send back the checklist to them saying I have everything even if I don't. My embassy is booking about 3-4 months behind and the police cert takes about 2 weeks, medical I can get super fast too. I'm not going to get my medical done right before the interview, probably a month or 2 before, this way I dont have to take a huge chunk of time off work and it will still be valid for when I send in the AOS.

Thanks for the bday wishes Franziska!

Just wanted to wish you March filers good luck. :)

Try to talk to each other as much as you can because it will be a few months yet - it's good to get the support while you wait.

Also, I never believed it when people told me this and I was in your shoes. Enjoy the time left in your country while you can, enjoy your loved ones. The few months wait will seem like nothing when it's gone, and before you know it, you'll be planning the move. I'm leaving in less than 2 months and I wish I could have more time with my family and friends. The reality is hitting home, and it's kinda scary. I never thought I would feel this way when I finally got here, after being so desperate for it.

Having said that, you have a lot to look forward to. Good luck, guys!

Hope you get your NOA2 soon Danu!

You sounded like me before I got mine and my fiance. He hates paperwork too, he was just told where to sign LOL. I had all the forms filled out and ready to go! LOL. Even the AOS stuff is saved on my harddrive! Anywhos, you are lucky that you don't have to do everything at once like me. I am going to have the medical & interview in the course of 2 days! ugh! Are the medicals valid for 1 year for AOS?

Yes, as long as it was done within the year you should be fine, though sometimes they RFE for a new one anyway (who knows why). I really hope you are right btw. I was looking through stats and last month it was like 14 approvals a week, this month its 14 total....what the heck is going on at CSC? everyone fell asleep? GAH!!

Ty all for the bday wishes :D

Looks to me like they stopped with the March Filers, and are getting the unfinished Nov-08 thru Feb-09 people approved. :( Hopefully they will get those done fast and get back to approvals for new K-1's!

Exactly what I thought last night. Isn't that weired. Hopefully there aren't too many left. Too bad that not every one who filed a petition has a timeline online. We would have a better idea about approvals. I am hoping they will throw in some March filers soon to make everyone believe that it goes pretty fast. Still strange that so many Feb Filers got approved so quickly and then it stopped. And then you look at VSC where it seems like multiple petitions get approved per day. Not that those petitions are recent ones, but they seem to be moving quicker right now.

Isn't it frustrating, no matter how much we research things, we'll never know when we'll be approved. I got a bottle of champagne ready that I will open for the first March Filer Approval (without an expedite).

To all of us anxiously waiting

I want my NOA2 soon, I want to be with my fiance, what's wrong with these people??? Sorry for the rant guys, just needed to get it out :crying:
