That is amazing and it gives me hope! Even though your case might of been so fast because of the military expedite. My fiance is also military, but he's not getting deployed any time soon, so we have no reason to apply for military exp. Anyway, good luck from now on and thank you for the good news!

uhh ohh... wait.. something's wrong here... we got the NVC notification that it was approved and will be sent to the consulate and also the case number, but was it the NOA2? Ive read the NOA2 should look something like NOA1, but he didnt mention anything abt it.. I've read that it happened to some people..

 now this is confusing...

but at least that was some good news we got on the mail, only one thing missing hehehe... ill ask him to call USCIS regarding this..

The NOA2 sometimes says its going to be sent to the consulate, but it goes through NVC first. If this is the NVC number it will have a different case number on it, the one for your consulate so it will start with different letters.

^^^ I think someone mentioned upthread that this was because of a military expedite.

Regardless its still great news for her and her fiance

I am happy for everyone who gets approved, but I agree with emmaline q. Hard to compare a case with expedite. Wish I had a reason, too. Guess my only reason would be that I unbelievably miss my fiance. Pretty sure that doesn't make my case any different from anybody else's case here.

Well, Happy Easter everybody!!

Well, Happy Easter everybody!!

Too bad this is not considered extreme hardship... 'cause I'd qualify with honors!

Exactly. It is such a strange expression. What is the definition of extreme hardship??!!?!??? Nothing based on feelings can be defined because everybody feels different. Don't know if I am making any sense.

I need one of those fun pics counting the days like everyone else has. Sounds like something I can waste time finding one. Got enough time to waste :)

Definition for extreme hardship in the eyes of USCIS is "Extreme emergent situation", "Humanitarian situation", matter of life and death or military deployments.

And I love tickers too, they help me keep track of time. I can't believe it's been almost 3 weeks since I got my NOA1! I hope time goes as fast for the NOA2 and the rest of this process.
