Hi everyone...I had my Interview last Feb. 25, 2009 and I was surprised when they require me to submit a Cenomar or Cemar before they approve my Visa and the CO told me that he would not hold me for long after i submit that. They've seen my Marriage Cert. authenticated by the NSO and i had no idea that Cenomar/Cemar is still needed coz they didnt require that from the City hall when we applied for a Marriage Cert. I requested a Cemar after my interview and i would get it by early next week. My worry is, how long i should wait to get my visa approve after i pass the Cemar? I heared from other people that it would take 3 months to re-process papers. Is it true?

Yes, you will be approved as soon as you submit what they asked for. What window are you during your interview? Cenmar is required to married people. I got mine before my interview date. What they want from me is my NBI with AKA's .I gave it immediately on the same day. I hope I can get it this week.

Some people waited for too long to get their visa with 221g marked "wait until you hear from us". Good luck!

If u live in the provinces aside from Manila. You can get your CENMAR in one day but if Manila it takes time few days. I will let husband call the USEM call center no. to verify the status of my visa since it's been 9 days.
