Please advice on the following :

I just received my citizenship and want to apply for my mom, who is already here on tourist visa. And she wants to apply here rather than back to her homeland.

The problem is, I will outside of US before the I-130 has been approved.

I can always come back for interview, but how will that effect I-130 application?
