okay, we are about to send our AOS package, i have read and read and read the guides on how to assemble the AOS package, i have also read some issues regarding DS-3025 and I-693A, anyway, here are the contents of the AOS package,

payment in the amount of $1010

I-485

copy of my passport

copy of my visa

noa2

copy of I-94

copy of birth certificate

certified copy of marriage certificate

two passport-type photos

g-325a

DS-3025

I-864, with 6 months pay stubs, 3 years income tax return with w2s, bank statement, letter from employer,

I-765

I-131, with supplement, part 7,

is there anything i am missing? please help...

so we sent in 4 passport photos....other people sent in 6....

i read and read on the forums, and couldn't get an agreement on passport pics, but my friend that got approved sent in 4.....

so far we haven't received an RFE, and we already got our EAD and AP so you might want to double check about the number of pics...

You can concurrently file I-130 & I-485. If you have any question you know where to find me.

I-130 Package Assembly :

1. Payment as required by USCIS. Currently $355

2. Cover Letter. Should include a description of what your are petitioning for (I-130), a table of contents (list everything in the packet). If you need additional room to explain your case, attach a separate sheet (list the attachment on the cover sheet). Make sure to sign and date the cover sheet.

3. Form I-130: Petition for Alien Relative

4. Copy of the Full Birth certificate (front and back) for the US Citizen or a copy of all pages of the US Citizen's passport.

5. A copy of the intending immigrant's birth certificate and/or passport along with English translation.

6. A copy of your marriage certificate (again, translated if not in English)

7. G-325A (all 4 pages) filled out by the US Citizen Spouse signed and dated

8. One passport-type photo of the US Citizen. Write the full name on the back.

9. G-325A (all 4 pages) filled out by the Non-US Citizen spouse signed and dated

10. One passport-type photo of the Non-US Citizen spouse. Write the full name of the beneficiary on the back.

11. Evidence of a bonafide marriage. (See the list under Guides of VJ)

I-485 Package Assembly :

6. A copy of the Non-US Citizen Spouse's Birth Certificate.

7. A copy of English Translation of the Non-US Citizen Spouse's Birth Certificate.

8. Six passport-type photos of the Non US Citizen Spouse. Write the full name on the back.

9. G-325A (all four pages) filled out,signed and dated

10. I-693, Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status (In a Sealed Envelope)

11. I-864, Affidavit of Support & Related Documents like Federal Income Tax return etc....

12. I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, if you want to work while your application is processed (optional)

13. I-131, Application for Travel Document, if you need to travel outside the United States while your application is processed (optional)

She doesn't need to submit a I-130!

hi, thanks for the reply, but i dont think im gonna need a total of 6 passport type photos, the instruction on this link said:

9. Two passport-type photos (see specification) of the Non US Citizen Spouse. Write the full name on the back. Place in a plastic bag and label the bag "Photo of <Insert Name>". Attach the bag to a sheet of paper and place behind the corresponding G-325a.

and oh by the way, im a k-1 visa holder, :)

yeah, we decided to take our chance, and if we ever get an RFE, we'll just respond to that, :)

Good luck getting by without submitting the I-693. Some people get away with it. Just be ready to get a I-693 in case they catch it!
